Thebearded1
Hello I apparently can't send messages yet because I haven't used this forum enough. Are the plymouth spoked wheels 5 on 4.5" bolt pattern? If so would you be able to send me the diameter of the inside of the hubs so I can see if the wheels would fit over my drums? Thanks Gene

alsfarms
Are your pair of T wheels 30 x 3 or 30 x 3-1/2? Is the wood restorable? What are you wanting for them? Al
thehandleman
I don't have tires on them, so I can only give you rim diameter of two is 25x2.5” and other is 25x3” Al, I am not a Model T Guy was gonna have brother price them at Hershey. I think one set is like 1916-1919 Guessing and other two are 1926-27 Come by and take a look at them I think wood is real good, Just my opine. Cheers Rich
wayne sheldon
I don't think those wheels are model T? The hubs (at least the one that can be seen?) don't look like Ford. There were quite a few other cars using similar size and type wheels. A few even fit the model T hubcap (some years Chevrolet had hubcaps that fit Fords). USA model T fronts that era were 24 inch inside the clincher rim where the bead set into place, 25 inch may be right if you measured on the outer highest part of the clincher. And if the widths are different? The model T front wheel sitting next to my 1915 is 2 1/2 inches wide on the outside of the clincher rim. Some cars that era used a size larger tire on the rear wheels than they did the fronts. The USA model T had 30 X 3 tires on the front, and 30 X 3 1/2 tires on the rear. That 1/2 inch difference in the tire made for a 23 inch rim down in where the tire bead sat for the rears. The rear wheel rims are about a half inch wider than the fronts. Whether they are Ford wheels or not? The wood and rims may be close enough for them to be adapted onto Ford hubs, and probably nobody would be able to tell the difference. Ford used wheels from at least four different wheel companies! There were minor variations in all the pieces between the wheelwrights and across the many years of model T production. I know one wheel on one of my model Ts was adapted from an originally non-Ford car. Can't tell by looking.
thehandleman
Hi Wayne, I did measure outside to Outside on the highest point, and across top of rim on both measurements, so maybe they are 24”x 2” and 24”x 2 1/2” Rims ? Well with over 14 Million Tin Lizzie’s made, I can see how many different wheelwrights made wheels for Henry. Well if anyone needs some Wheels come on by will make a deal. wayne sheldon
Rich, If I were about three thousand miles closer? I would possibly be interested in them. What I do need to do, is figure out how to get good pictures of the door handles for my 1927 Paige 6-45 and find out if there are any handles available that I could use? thehandleman
Yup, that’s one handle I would need pics and measurements, ie., mount holes center to center , shaft lengths, overall length’s , flat escutcheon, oval, convex, if thats exterior. Interior threaded, splines, or square drive and size and lengths. I would be happy to search the abyss for you Wayne. Regards Rich send that Info to my email I sent you a PM
wayne sheldon
Thanks Rich! If I can get my camera issue sorted out, I will try to send information, sometime after Hershey! It has been on my mind for awhile now.
