Steve Moskowitz
Yes and close up there is a Maxwell on the generator....the body does not look factory to me.
Walt G
No, not a factory body at all, coach built then fabricated, rear fenders are custom as well. I can not give you the name of the coach builder or designer, is a bit early for my collection to have photos of ( my focus is on WWI to WWII primarily) Well done to get all those compound curves. Walt G
The car would have been very radical looking for the era - brass and gas lights but styling that would be more popular at least a decade later. Sheet metal body too when many were wood panels that were sanded primed and painted - by brush with varnish mostly. Indeed a cool car I totally agree.
Peter Gariepy
is it me... is that not a terrible steering wheel placement? LOL
Steve Moskowitz
It is you Peter! Somewhat typical of the day but I think further exacerbated by the driver being vertically challenged like me.
Walt G
I think the seat cushion is probably fairly low as well . Steering wheel is probably in a "normal" height for most cars of that make that were offered in the regular production style bodies.
Mark Gregush
I just looked closer at the clock in the background. The photo was not flipped, so removed photo. Edited June 25, 2022 by Mark Gregush (see edit history)
30DodgePanel
Great photo! Steve, is it something recently received at the AACA Library or can you shed any light on it's history like size and where you found it? Timeless photos are priceless. Steve Moskowitz
No this is a family photo from "down under" sent to me by a lady as she believed it to be her father's car.
