I even went to a Checker Club show that happened to be in my area. I don't think there are a lot of beautifully restored Checkers: most of the cars at that (national?) meet were in #3 condition. plymouthcranbrook Posted February 24, 2022 Share Posted February 24, 2022 The company I worked for for 40 years or so had a Checker as a delivery vehicle which I drove occasionally. Drivers position was not too comfortable especially the seat not going very far back. This was a 76 with a few options like air and the usual ps and pb. You could really load it down. I would be happy in there...but maybe that's because I grew up in Kalamazoo where they were made. Even there, Checkers were not common sights.
