superbuick
Working on a 1938 Buick Special. Found the rear differential gears damaged for low / no oil. Need a good set, or a complete rear axle if close to the Seattle area. Has the stock 4.44 gears. Steve superbuick@hotmail.com

But required machining and sleeves to get it to fit the 1938 housing. Far from a bolt in. The ring (part 1303405) is common to 1938 & 1939. Pinion is not, hence machining. Many '39 Special owners would like a '39 series 60 r&p, 39 - 10 teeth ~3.90. So would not be hard to sell.

Daves1940Buick56S
I have a 4.44 pumpkin that I will give away if someone will come get it. It's for my 1940 but should fit up to 54? I am in Rockville MD near DC. In a heavy box and ready to go. No I am not shipping it. If I do that then it will have be a sale to make it worth the hassles. Thanks Dave
