Just saw this posted minutes ago on Facebook in MA

Looks good for the money and I'm sure is going to sell very fast.  It isn't perfect but for 11G I doubt there is better.

Not a bad looking car, I have always liked the t birds up to 1966. They are still a bit undervalued for what they are I think. This one is probably priced right, looking at the rust in the engine bay. The core support doesnt look that good and the rust looks pretty bad on the cowell braces. Also the pass side underneath hood looks like its starting to go as well (or is that insulation?)  I would have to see some underside pics for sure.

I would have to agree on this one. At first glance there is a lot to like, but further investigation should be done to verify that the rust hasn't gone too far. Nice looking car though.

If anyone thinks that real rust under the hood you haven't seen northeast cars.  It does look like insulation on the hood,  which is usually missing.  That black body looks incredibly straight to me and lack of severe pitting on the interior potmetal means it was a fairly dry car as well.  That always pits on wet cars and rarely gets replaced. Yup not perfect but what other 60's ragtop can you buy with a new top and interior in leather with all the mechanical work done listed for 10 grand?  That's late 60's Plymouth Fury money and even those usually need freshening.   If it was closer I would have went and looked at it for sure.

Marked Sold today. I knew it wouldn't take long.  Unless it's a total pile of crap underneath.  You got the car for free and just helped pay down some of the resto bills.  It wasn't even tan or white with a brown interior.

Now there is a yellow one that looks pretty clean listed today on Facebook for 19,500.  No mention of mechanical work done.

I put more value in mechanical work than I used to after having to do alot of it on my more recent purchases and the incredible amount of time you spend Diagnosing then waiting on parts once you find new problems as you fixed the last only to reveal the next.

Paint, chrome and interior you can see.  Mechanical problems don't always present themselves as clearly.

Look at these forums.  Most threads are about fixing problems on old cars and mostly mechanical related.  As well as finding shops willing to work on them if not so inclined to do it yourself.

Is it a licensing requirement for being a certified flipper that your pictures are taken at the end of the driveway on the trailer before you leave the original seller's property.

That’s the entry level requirement. The sophisticated ones wait until they are at a gas station. At night.
