smallaxe
Do you know the make/model/year? It will help me date this family photo. I thought the photo might be 1920's, but the car looks 1910's to me. smallaxe
The closest thing I've been able to find is the 1911 Cole 30 Model L Roadster, but there are enough differences to examples of that car that I don't think that's it. zipdang
How is that guy sitting in the back? Knees pulled up, probably uncomfortable.
smallaxe
I had assumed there was something like a small rumble seat back there. I probably should have added that this photo was taken in east USA, even though it has a right hand driver arrangement.

wayne sheldon
Still has oil sidelamps. So likely 1912 or earlier. Several details lead me to believe 1910 or '11. Length of hood suggests it could be a small six? Or a really big four.

Ariejan NL
The car is a 1909/1910 Oldsmobile model DR Flying Roadster. Oldsmobile type hup caps, flattened hood top, hand grip on the hood and controls just under the steering wheel are the main identifying features. Other than the horn appearing to be mounted upside down in my photo, that looks like a very good match. And it also explains the uncomfortable seating position of the rear passenger. Thanks! I think you may have nailed it. Edited October 22, 2020 by smallaxe (see edit history)
