Those interested in attending, please post.

Usually, we have it around 11:30 on Friday (Feb. 7th this year).

I could give them a call as it gets closer to assure enough tables.

Regards, Peter J.

Peter, Will definitely plan on being there - one for the company and two for the good food - they make a great Philly steak sandwich. Keep the schedule flexible until we know the seminar schedule and post the meeting time at the web site location in the Trade Show area. Ron

LI...St. George's is a restaurant just a few blocks from the Wyndham.

Sort of a tradition for the DF'ers to get away and shoot the breeze.

The reason I am posting it this early is last year it got quite full, plus, there were quite a few office type workers that came in around noon.

Ron & Bruce...Just thought I'd start the ball rolling as we may have more than last year the way it looks. Ron, I'll keep it open for sure. I would think if I called them Monday for a heads up, and, Thursday with a "close count", we should be OK.

Guest SalG (Sal Grenci)

I plan to be there. Can I have my picture taken with my KK hat again or are we off the KK topics?

I spoke to PeterG last week and he does not have any firm plans now, but will know after the 1 st. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/icons/smile.gif" alt="" />

Sal...sounds good. Do your thing.

This thread may get buried over 8 weeks. I'll bring it to the top occasionally so we have a good idea. I am keeping a separate, written logue of attendees.

Please keep comments related to the "subject". It will make it easier for us in making arrangements.

In response: "Philly".

Just trying to compile a roster here.

For those that will be attending the DF lunch for the first time......here are directions to St.George's.

St. Georges is close to the hotel and can almost be seen from the Wyndham.

Standing in the lobby and facing the AACA banners (with the main doors to your back):

Walk to the left past the escalator and exit through the double doors.

Passing through the double doors will put you into the enclosed foyer

Walk straight across the enclosed foyer to the street (Race Street)

(you will pass the statues of two men talking on the left .. a well known landmark to DFers)

Outside on Race Street turn left and walk about 2 blocks.

At the beginning of the third block...across on the right side of street there will be a parking lot on the corner..and next to it will be an old brick building with St. George's name on the sign.

Enter St. George's and walk past the lunch counter..turn left though the passageway and turn left again into the front dning room. This is where the DF'ers normally meet.

See you there!

Thank you for the directions, Bruce.

To those that want to attend, please "register" here so I can make reservations.

If you come "en-mass", or, "decide at the last minute to walk on over" without registering, St. George's is a rather small place and I cannot guarantee you a setting.

Regards, Peter J.

Welcome, Bill...

No problem with the last Seminar leading up to lunch. St. George's is a short walk. We tag 11:30-ish in order to beat the "Office Folks" that fill the place up at 12:00.

It is casual, enjoyable. Last year, Father Ron asked that we all introduce eachother with our "real names", we order, and, simply have a good time for about 1 hour.

Then, back to the Meeting/Seminars in time for 1:00.

Bring it back to the top...

Going to call St. George's Restaurant on Monday, 1/27, just to give them a "Heads Up" that we have to-date, 16 coming, and, 3 maybe's.

As Ronbarn suggested, I will advise St. George's of the exact time when we know the Meeting Schedule on a closer date. Usually, 11:30 is the time.

Please add your name if you are interested in a nice time.

Regards, Peter J.

Hi, folks...

Called St. George's. Made reservations for Friday, Feb. 7th.

Told them 11:45-ish. 17-19 people. Girl said no problem, we are set up.

As for the Seminar Schedules, gave her a heads up that we may be a little early, or, late. She said to simply call her Friday morning and they will accommodate us. Also, if anyone else desires to attend, she said to tell her Friday morning.

Regards, Peter J.
