Pete Phillips
That thing has been taken care of! Original upholstery. I love unmolested cars like this! 1962 and 1963 are the only years the LeSabre came with a 401 V8 as standard equipment.

I had a low-mileage 1962 Electra, similar condition to this gem. The speedometer started doing things like that, and then one day, it went back and forth--0 to 120 and back again several times--while doing about 40 mph. Next thing I knew, the entire speedometer had blown up--unrepairable. Had to find a replacement speedometer, and after that, it was nearly impossible to convince anyone that it was a 22,000 mile car with a speedometer that showed totally different mileage on the odometer. drhach
I spoke to the seller on Facebook. I think he bought it from a coworker. I let him know that the A/C is uncommon. I also pointed out that the engine may have been out at some time given that iti is the wrong color. His interior is the same as mine. I really like the silver and black theme.
