AHa Posted July 2, 2020 Share Posted July 2, 2020 (edited) In Savannah, Georgia. I read somewhere the reason these cars smoked so bad was they added oil to the gas. I want to say the oil was Castor oil. I,m guessing it was an effort to keep the upper end slathered in oil. As I understand it, this practice gunked everything up with a heavy oil deposit.
