nzcarnerd
On the left a Ford Model T - 1920-22 era I think - with a non-original badge on the radiator. On the right an Oldsmobile from the late teens.
Steve Scully
The picture has the date, 9/17/1917 written on it. I will post another view of the same car
nzcarnerd
I am not a Ford T expert - but maybe it is the first of the black radiator models. Production began August 1916 I think. The oval radiator Oldsmobile also started in 1916. If the photo date is correct both cars are near new.

keiser31
It IS a Model T , but with a different radiator and hood. The shell almost looks homemade by the offset badge and crude construction. The rest looks to be pure Ford. Edited May 13, 2019 by keiser31 (see edit history)

Or maybe it was just a Friday or Monday Morning on the Assembly line, or in the Die stamping dept.
oldford
I believe the last year for the single arched window in the rear curtain was 1917. 1918 cars had 3 rectangular lights in the curtain. Arched rear window is on the Ford Frank Edited May 13, 2019 by oldford (see edit history)
Hans1
Appears to be a almost straight head on shot of car. I noticed the off center shell, radiator cap and emblem.................. Head lights of center, and ?different headlight reflectors.................. front fenders appear different also................. A clever repair job way back then........... Leif Holmberg
Seems to be a lot done on this Ford T model, the fenders looks to be in different size, the steering linkage no 2 looks a lot different than Ford T ,cowl ligts and "spot" light,as well as the bigger head lights?.No 3 could that be extra springs, and 4 could that be an electric horn? stexch
Given the nature of the mechanical brakes, I imagine that there were many T's that had collisions and were home-repaired with whatever happened to be available.
