TheOldMan
Hello again, Is there anyone out there that reproduces the drip rails for our 1963 Rivieras? I have a set that looks like they were taken off with a pair of side cutters. Pretty marred up. Thanks in advance.
Seafoam65
No, you will need to source nice used ones. Edited March 28, 2019 by Seafoam65 (see edit history)
Zimm63
Body manual shows how to get them off. I used a paint can opener with a little hook at one end. Worked like a charm, once I figured it out.

I farted around with mine for quite a while and decided to tape them off with heavy tape. I have done others with a church key, but the Riviera was a challange. Zimm63
Sorry, few hundred miles south. Fiddled around a long time before hitting on the right tool. It was a freebie that came with paint at the local hardware store. If I remember right, reach up from the bottom side and hook the end. Once it starts, it comes right off. Snaps back on. The other end of the tool is a bottle opener, which is handy too. You can also open a paint can with it, but whats the fun in that? Last thing I took off before paint and first thing I shined up and put back on. Edited March 28, 2019 by Zimm63 (see edit history) 1

steelman
Went with a friend last weekend to look at a 69 Tempest. New paint in a very ugly gray. My very first comment was "Looks like somebody tried to take the drip rail moldings off with a claw hammer!".
abandg
I have them. Gene 610-359-8901
60FlatTop
I have a nice set myself. I am pretty sure they are going to stay that way. A couple hundred miles ain't bad. Have you even seen springtime lake effect snow? Pretty impressive. Bernie
TheOldMan
Thanks to all for the replies. I will be touching base with you to chat about these items. Thanks again. P.S. Hate to have someone tear off parts when they really don't know how to do it. Dennis in Denver.
