Peter Gariepy
ok. dumb question... what "numbered posts"? (guess i never paid it much attention. and no settings have changes... so not sure why they'd be gone Link to comment
keiser31
Every post on each thread used to have a number on it so people could keep track of what was said or who said it by the post number. 1 Link to comment
Ben Bruce aka First Born
Peter, there was a number for each post in a thread . It was in the top right corner. Dim until one scrolled close and then brighter. Not there now. Ben P.S My signature picture, and some others, not all, has been replaced with a "link". When clicked on, it takes me to the photo gallery. Just Me? Computer problem? Some setting change? Curious. Link to comment
MCHinson
Yes, each post in each discussion did previously have a post number at the top right corner. It did allow people to easily make reference to a previous post in a discussion. Link to comment
John_S_in_Penna
They were little gray numbers at the upper right side of each posting. Yes, they were vital for our long threads, so we could say, "Joe said in Posting #62 that..." After the software was upgraded a week or so ago, they were definitely there. As late as last Wednesday, March 1, people were referring to them. Now, and evidently from Thursday, March 2, on, people noticed that those convenient markers are gone. Those handy posting numbers also disappeared after the previous software upgrade--a year or so ago--and Peter restored them then. We really need them, and thank you in advance.
