1956 Roadmaster right color combination

Hello everyone, I'm looking for the right color combination for my 1956 Roadmaster coupe R76

The car has two tags, one from Flint USA and one from Antwerp.

I already got some answers but I want to know for sure.....

Please look at the pictures.

Is this right, or should it be upside down?

And does anyone have a picture of another Buick with the right color combination?

Your color code is "DFF" - which is the same between both tags.

D= Electric Blue

F= Cadet Blue

Order is Top, Middle, Bottom (the car pictured does not match the dataplate).

If you turn the data plate upside down it does.

One NEAT thing, to me, about the Hometown Buick website is the Color Selector function!  So NEAT to be able to try out color combinations that way.  The model in the illustration might not match your car, but the way the colors interact would be the same.  Another way to while away the time!

I have never seen a car with these color combo..................

Please leave your car as it is !!!!!

I think it is beautiful just like the picture.

And boy-o-boy do you have guts........ to drive that big Buick around the Netherlands with the gas prices as they are now.

That is a better ride than the King or Queen or whom ever runs the place.

And with the steering wheel on the left side too..

My kind of guy.......

While there seems to have been common & popular color choices, it seems you could get any combination you wanted in '56.  Finding a photo of an odd combination like this will be pretty difficult, but you can plug it in here:  http://www.hometownbuick.com/1956-buick/1956-buick-configurator/

So you are O.K. unless you ferry over to England ?

We here in the colonies drive on the right too.

Just to annoy the mother country. HA.HA.

And it was that dastardly left handed Napoleon that changed most of Europe from the left

Hello guys, I need your help !

Who can tell me, in which color the enginebay is sprayed ??

And which color on the dashboard ?

The tags with the colorcodes of my car, are in the top of this topic.

The fenders and the radiator core support should be satin black.  The firewall should be whatever body color you choose that covers the cowl area.  Not the color of the top or under the sweep spear if you decide to make those different.

The dashboard and steering column should be the same color as the steering wheel.  In the picture from 3 years ago the wheel looks to be ivory.

Thanks for the answer

But another question:

Who can provide me the modern paintnumbers for the cadet blue and electric blue ?

I'm located in Europe and the car was painted in the wrong colors, so not possible to scan old paint sections…….
