paulrhd29nz
what a beauty that is..Classic Art Deco at its best. H8. Its not Hudson. Did Hupmobile have an 8clyd?
egor
That is seriously cool! Hupmobile did make an 8-cylinder car, starting in, I think, 1925. I don't recalling seeing any instrument panels like that, though. Maybe European?what a beauty that is..Classic Art Deco at its best. H8. Its not Hudson. West Peterson
Maybe European?I think most European cars of that period (pre 1930) have six-cylinder engines.
30 Hupp
!928-29 Hupmobile Model "M" 8 cylinder...........
keiser31
I have never seen Hupmobile use the griffin. I am certain it is Hudson. Only Hudson and Essex used that logo, I believe. I saw where someone in the past has tried to identify a similar set of instruments as Hupmobile. I am not convinced.

oldford
According to the Car Spotters Guide, 30 Hupp above is correct. 1928 Hupp Century Model MFrank
Hupp36
If you look at the 8cyl. logo, thats a dead give away that it is Hupmobile. The 28 Hupmobile M radiator badge uses that script & the hubcap also. The 28 A Hupmobile uses the same shape instrument panel but is not as fancy. West Peterson
Cool panel. Gardner also used a very fancy instrument panel, and they, too, used the griffin. In fact, it was part of their logo and hood ornament.

StillOutThere
Hudson only employed the "griffin" on its 1933 big Hudson cars and the '33 Essex-Terraplane. At no other year nor model did they use a griffin. That is not Hudson for sure.
