Amazing antique brass instrument panel

That is seriously cool! Hupmobile did make an 8-cylinder car, starting in, I think, 1925. I don't recalling seeing any instrument panels like that, though. Maybe European?

what a beauty that is..Classic Art Deco at its best. H8. Its not Hudson. Did Hupmobile have an 8clyd?

I have never seen Hupmobile use the griffin. I am certain it is Hudson. Only Hudson and Essex used that logo, I believe. I saw where someone in the past has tried to identify a similar set of instruments as Hupmobile. I am not convinced.

Cool panel. Gardner also used a very fancy instrument panel, and they, too, used the griffin. In fact, it was part of their logo and hood ornament.

Yes....this is a friend's 1928 Gardner....I guess the griffin got around....

An authoritative answer like this is very much appreciated. The link to Tony St. Clair's blog is also appreciated, what a source he is!
