Bushwack
A few months ago there was a thread on the topic of JAXED and similar sites that perform the same function. Can't find the thread after performing a search (deleted?).Would someone please recommend alternative web sites to JAXED? TIA

Guest BJM
JAXED has been neutered (my words) by Craigs List lawyers. I was hoping there could be a compromise but each attempt at circumventing CL has been handled and now I don't even visit JAXED.
Jim
I'll be the first to admit I am not the brightest. What is JAXED?
Ronnie
JAXED is/was a website that allowed you to search Craigslist in all cities at once for an item... instead of having to search individual cities.
waltmail
JAXED is/was a website that allowed you to search Craigslist in all cities at once for an item... instead of having to search individual cities.Wouldn't that be nice. I am searching for a 1982 Honda CB750F Supersport and it is quite tedious jumping from city to city.

tbenvie
There is an easier way. if you are looking for 91 Reattas, use this: 1991 Reatta site:craigslist.org exactly like that. You can change 1991 Reatta to anything and get the site results. You can also eliminate searches by adding a comma after Reatta, then a minus sign with the term you want to eliminate. Here is an example: Reatta site:craigslist.org gave me 8940 matches1991 Reatta site:craigslist.org gave me 1870 matches1991 Reatta, -Buick site:craigslist.org gave me 16 matchesPut your cursor to the right of the ad and you will see double arrows. Just hover over the arrows and the ad will open in a small window and you will be able to see if it is still an active ad, deleted, etc. Edited November 25, 2012 by tbenvie (see edit history)
