Booreatta
Phil that is pretty cool. Ronnie needs to put this on his website for the future. I cant help but wonder where the little Reatta is today. Would be interesting to find itChuck

Guest Telco
Nice. As long as videos are being posted up, check out this RWD Reatta. Why couldn't they have made THIS car?
padgett
Mainly because they were having trouble selling the FWD version and in the 1980s, GM's roadmap was for "power modules", not multipart drivetrains. Part I have never understood is why the engine was in front of the trans at a time when very low hoods were desirable. (of course that trying to change the firewall side plugs on a V-6 Fiero involves a 4x4 piece of plywood may be the reason).
Guest Telco
Anyone interested in a V8 Reatta then? Just 9625 bucks at this time. No pics of the engine though.
padgett
Ever since I saw a "100% stock" '58 'vette roll by with an HEI, I put little stock in such descriptions. They rely completely on what the owner says.
Don B.
I want a peddle Reatta for Christmas!!
padgett
In 1990 it was most likely 6v electric. There were several mfrs.
Guest mounthopewalt
Can the VIN on the Reatta pedal car be traced back to it's current owner? If not, I'll post a wanted ad on Craiglist. Hopefully I can receive it by Christmas.
Barney Eaton
Is there any way of getting a decent still picture from the video?I'm thinking they may have used a Corvette pedal car and changed the graphics on the front (headlight, grill, etc)
padgett
not decent since original is poor but...
Bushwack
Why do I see Fred and Barney in the front seats on their way to the Bedrock bowling alley?
Nittany
That is one sweeeet looking Christmas present!! Padgett mentioned there were several manufacturers - does anyone have one in their Reatta collection or know if there are any of these pedal/6 volt electric cars out there?
