1. If you have your old New York registration receipts, as well as any old insurance cards, you can try bringing them along to Florida DMV and asking them why they won't register the car since New York clearly had no problem doing so. Maybe the DMV in Florida needed more proof that the car was indeed operational since many people have a title to a vehicle that they never registered.
2. Give me Wheeler Dealers any day.....
3. Selling off the last of my WPC magazines (I think!). There are 25 issues covering various Chrysler-related topics including classic Imperials, the Dodge Viper, 1959 Chrysler, Chrysler defense participation, and many other subjects. Lots of great reading, plus classified ads to make you lust for the good old days. 1992: March 1996: Jan, Feb, Mar 1997: Mar, Aug 1998: Jan 2000: Jan, Feb, Apr, May, June, Oct, Nov 2001: Jan, Feb, Apr, May, June, July, Sept, Dec 2002: Jan, Feb, Mar All 25 magazines $30.00 postpaid in USA. PayPal or USPS money order are fine. Harold

6. Legitimate sellers also cover their plates. When I posted a car on Craigslist I did that. No reason to make it any easier for strangers to know where you live.
7. I got these by subscription and most of them are in very nice condition. The few that aren't got wrinkled by the Post Office because they're mailed without wrappers. Here's what you get: Skinned Knuckles: 12 issues August, 2013 to July, 2014 inclusive Auto Restorer: 19 issues August, 2013 to February, 2015 inclusive It's a total of 31 magazines filled with valuable restoration information and feature articles. The whole batch is $30.00 (that's only 97 cents each!) picked up in Freehold, NJ. If you want them shipped, add $12.65 for a USPS Priority Mail Flat-Rate box. Payment by USPS money order or PayPal if I'm mailing them, or cash if you're picking-up in person. Harold
8. As of now, there have been 678 page views and not one nibble on these brochures. What's wrong??
9.

Original Volvo manual that gives step by step instructions for maintenance to be performed every 7,500 miles. Includes detailed specifications and adjustments. Has 67 pages. Cover somewhat worn but inside pages are very clean. Write with any questions. $11.00 postpaid in USA. PayPal or USPS money order are OK. Harold

10. I'd strongly suggest going to your DMV in person. It's too easy to get 'blown-off' if you make a phone call. As Bernie said, dressing for the occasion helps, too.
11. To my knowledge, spray-on chrome is the same process a silvering mirrors. I've used 'xxxx'-grade (also called '0000') steel wool on bumpers to get rid of the surface rust and then misted silver paint on the areas that stayed rusty-looking. You'd be surprised how shiny your original chrome can look after steel-wooling it, and the silver paint touch-ups aren't too noticeable when surrounded by real chrome.
12. The title says it all. Has paint color chips, color and fabric availability chart, and more. $6.00 mailed anywhere in the USA in a letter-size envelope. PayPal or USPS Money Order are OK. Harold

14. There is a guy on Moparts (his screen name is 'AlaskanTA', I think) who runs a registry for reuniting build sheets with the Hamtramack cars they were printed for.
15. Original Chrysler training manual that explains the operation of Electronic Fuel Injection and how to diagnose and service it. Includes explanation of components and how they work, testing and repair procedures, and wiring diagrams. Probably applicable to newer vehicles as well. The manual is in excellent nearly-new condition, has 94 pages, and came from a Dodge dealership that went out of business in 1982. $20.00 postpaid in the USA. PayPal and USPS Money Order are OK. 17. This is a four-point bumper-to-bumper tow bar from the late 1950's-early 1960's made in the USA by Gross-Given. It has extra cables to pull down the brake pedal on the towed vehicle to aid in stopping. Designed to attach to the rear bumper of the towing vehicle and the front bumper of the towed vehicle. Both vehicles need metal bumpers for this to work. Used very little if at all. Includes instruction sheet. Heavy and bulky so I don't want to ship it. $200.00 picked-up in or near Freehold, New Jersey. Harold
18. The part number begins with 'D8' so it's a 1978 radio. I Googled the part number from the sticker and didn't get any definitive results, except that a few of them have been sold on eBay for $15.00 or less.
19. I try to practice 'due diligence' on Craigslist. My ads always request a phone number, then I'll call back. Vague replies like 'is it still available?' or responses with unusual grammar or sentence construction ('what is your last price?') or immediate mention of their 'shipping agent' get deleted. I also don't respond to low-ballers who will gladly buy my item for 20% of my price without seeing it. When I do get a reply that includes a phone number, I call on my cell (somewhat tougher to track) and size up the person I'm speaking with. If I don't like what I hear, I stop the conversation then and there. If all sounds good, I arrange to meet in a local, well-populated shopping center in daylight, and try to bring someone with me. I'd say about 3-5% of the responses I receive pass my criteria.
20. If you don't want to ship stuff, just list the items on several local Craigslist sites and avoid eBay fees altogether.
21. That's the way I do things lately. I have several hundred car magazines that I've accumulated and my best selling method has been to fill a flat-rate box with 'x' copies of a particular title and list at a low price. I tried selling magazines one-by-one and for the most part it doesn't pay.
