  1. I'm selling four original Ford parts catalogs that I got new in the 1960's. They have shelf wear only and were never used in a dealership or repair shop. The catalogs contain all sorts of hard-to-find information that should help you with your repair or restoration. 1967 Body & Collision Parts Catalog: Covers 1964-67 Ford cars and has Identification Plate decoders, body servicing information including glass and door adjustments, interior paint color charts with names and part numbers, exploded views of all car models and Bronco with basic part numbers, The exploded views even include close-up drawings of trim clips! A real gold mine of information. 1968 Body & Collision Parts Catalog: Covers 1965-68 Ford and Mercury cars and has Identification Plate decoders, interior paint color charts with names and part numbers, exploded views of all car models and Bronco with basic part numbers, This book doesn't have the repair info of the earlier one, but has expanded coverage of Mercury and Lincoln. The binding has a 'roll' because I kept these manuals in a loose-leaf binder and this one was wrapped around the loose leaf rings for the past several decades. 1967 Ready Reference Catalog: Covers 1964-67 Ford car and Bronco mechanical parts including repair information. Includes exploded views and basic part numbers of many components 1968 Ready Reference Catalog: Covers 1965-68 Ford and Mercury car and Bronco mechanical parts, with exploded views and basic part numbers. The '68 book doesn't have as much repair info as the previous year's edition, but covers Mercury as well. The price is $25.00 each, postpaid by Media Rate in the USA. I'll take PayPal or USPS money orders. Thanks for looking, Harold
  2. Good idea but doesn't look that way. The rattle is coming from inside the domed section of the cap where the locking ears are located. The cable was connected to a loop which is still on the cap. If I shake the cap back and forth it almost sounds like there is something flapping around in there (anti-spill vent possibly).
  3. I found this in my toolbox today and really don't need it. The wrench is about 6-1/2" long and in very nice condition. If anyone is interested, I'll take $10.00 for it postpaid in the USA. Thanks, Harold

  5. I recently found the original gas cap from my wife's 1966 Mustang. She took it off her car around 1972 to install a locking cap. If you shake it, it rattles. Is there some sort of anti-slosh valve or vent assembly in there? I've never run across anything like this before and I'm curious as to what it is. Thanks for your ideas. Harold

  7. The worst things to sell, at least for me, is automotive paper and magazines. I've accumulated lots of magazines (by subscription or bought new at newsstands) and they just don't move. I've relisted some stuff on eBay for literally months (and a few for years...) before someone buys it. Sales literature and owner's manuals rarely sell. I wonder how eBay Power Sellers who specialize in this stuff stay in business. I'm not looking for 'home runs' here, just some lunch money (which always helps!) and to make space. If anyone has any ideas I'll gladly listen. Harold
  8. 1990 May (1) 1991 May-Nov (7) 1992 Jan-Nov (11) 1993 Jan-July, Oct, Nov (9) 1994 Jan-June (6) There is a wealth of knowledge to be gained by reading these magazines. In looking through them again after all these years, I was impressed by the quality of the writing, the in-depth explanations, and the many pictures included in the how-to articles. While the majority of the coverage was for British makes, there were also many features devoted to collectible cars from many different countries (including the USA). I'd sell individual copies for $9.75 each, postpaid in the USA, but would prefer to sell all the magazines in one batch, or grouped by year and am open to offers. Harold
  9. UPDATE: I organized the magazines and took pictures. There's a total of 34 magazines. Here's what I have: 1990 May (1) 1991 May-Nov (7) 1992 Jan-Nov (11) 1993 Jan-July, Oct, Nov (9) 1994 Jan-June (6) There is a wealth of knowledge to be gained by reading these magazines.
