  1. The part numbers are 85-0139 (wheel cylinder kit) and 85-0108 (master cylinder kit). I think I bought them for my '52 Plymouth many years ago and want to confirm that's what they fit. I haven't had any success researching online so I hope someone with a Hy-Brake catalog will chime in. Thanks in advance....Harold
  2. This wheel came from my 1979 Impala wagon and is in pretty good shape. Fits a wide variety of GM products. $25.00 picked-up in Freehold, NJ 07728. Sorry, will not ship.
  3. Here's a clever vintage anti-theft device made in USA by Buss. Factory-sealed original packaging (somewhat shelf-worn). From the package: "Fools thief---lets him drive away---then stops motor cold. Thief will abandon vehicle---rather than chance being caught. You'll get your car or truck back QUICK---No waiting for days or weeks." $25.00 postpaid in the lower 48 States. PayPal is fine. Thanks for looking. Harold
  4. We had a '63 Continental bought at the NYC Police Auction in 1971. It was, shall we say, not the most reliable of vehicles. I used to carry cold water with some rags to cool the fuel pump when it vapor locked.
  5. NOS Mopar 891448 timing cover oil seal fits: Plymouth 1936-1942 all models Plymouth Commercial all models Dodge 1936-1942 all models DeSoto 1936-1942 all models Dodge trucks 1936-1946 1/2, 3/4, 1, 1-1/2, and 2 ton models Industrial Engines T112, T116, T-118, C36 Shelf wear and some discoloration from sitting. $15.00 postpaid in the lower 48 States. 7. Vintage Milesmaster Fuel Regulator & Filter for Performance and Economy. Has regulator and fittings. According to the package, the theory is that a steady fuel pressure of about 3.5 PSI promotes fuel economy. The Milesmaster is still in its original carded packaging and looks new, but the cardboard backing has seen better days. $20.00 postpaid in USA.
  8. I sold new Fords in the 1980's and the Taurus caused quite a stir when it came out. We've had several over the years and they all provided good service. There were 4 Taurus series when they first came out. IIRC, there was the L (basic), GL (better), LX (top of the line), and the MT-5, which was a 5-speed stick shift only available with a four-cylinder engine. Sorry to see the model discontinued.
  9. Another price drop!! $35.00 picked-up in Freehold, NJ 07728. What a deal!
  10. Nice used condition. Has hinge but no lock. $15.00 + shipping. Let me know your zip code and I'll figure out the shipping cost.
  11. Perhaps candy being enhanced with a slowly-but-surely-getting-legalized substance.....
  12. Looks like it came from an impound auction.
  13. I was rummaging in the garage again and found the above distributor cap. It looks like it's for a Mopar flathead-six. I'd like to confirm what it fits; if it's for my Plymouth I'll put it in my 'keeper' box. Anyone have a Western Auto catalog they can check for me? Thanks in advance, Harold
  14. I've heard it called a Swamp Cooler. The air is drawn in through the front opening and flows over moistened pads to cool it, then it discharges air into the passenger compartment.
  15. I'm not too thrilled about the rate increases. I occasionally sell on eBay and higher shipping costs will be another impediment to sales.
  16. Jumper cables vs. booster cables? Paper plate vs. temporary tag?
  17. Original shop manual that my uncle got with his new '54 Pontiac. Never used in a repair shop. $25.00 postpaid by Media Rate in the lower 48 States.

  19. I'm in New Jersey and have never heard the term 'throttle pump', so there must indeed be regional differences in automotive terminology. Another one that comes to mind is 'license plate light' or 'tag light'.
  20. Fits most models of '39-'53 Dodge and 1946-48 Plymouth, DeSoto, and Chrysler with Stromberg carb. May fit others. $12.00 postpaid in the lower 48 States. PayPal is OK.
