  2. There were two sizes of this hubcap. The 9" version was for the Concord and the 10" version was for the Cambridge.

  4. FWIW, New York didn't issue titles until the 1973 model year. Older vehicles have a 'transferable registration' that can be signed-over to the next owner. New Jersey, on the other hand, titles all vehicles regardless of age. Sometimes the NJ Motor Vehicle Commission can be hard to deal with when it comes to out-of-state paperwork.....I've experienced it first-hand!
  5. I think it was a 1940 Ford. There was one episode where the boys were going to the dump to get new fenders for Lumpy's car. Possibly the earliest Recycling Center ever mentioned on TV!
  6. I agree completely that free websites make their money by mining and selling personal data. It's only going to get worse as time goes on. My concern with Marketplace is that I don't want to publish my full name. I want to be in control of any interactions and transactions that take place. Since it's easy to get a home address from a name and city my personal security can be compromised. My usual routine with Craigslist is to meet the buyer in our local Best Buy parking lot. I don't know where they come from and they don't know where I come from. Anonymity is good. PS to Lebowski: I'm sure Fred would be proud of how Clarence turned out....
  7. Is there a way to post on Facebook Marketplace with an alias? I'm not too keen on posting using my real name.
  8. My ongoing quest to simplify and downsize keeps me looking for more places to run ads. I heard about Facebook Marketplace and was wondering if anyone here has had any experiences with it. All comments welcome. Thanks, Harold

  17. My wife and I attended on Saturday and had a great time. Walked a lot, bought a few things, and got lunch from a food vendor. I'm into 1951-52 Plymouths and the nearest thing I saw on the show field was a nice '50 fastback with a Chrysler V-8 conversion. The gearshift was very cleverly built into the heater control. I was impressed....
  18. I've had this car since 1985. In earlier years, I'd start it occasionally and drive it up and down my street. Mostly garage-kept, recently started the engine after 20+ years, runs off gas can.The good:Complete car including both rear fender skirts and all 4 Magnum wheelsVery rare, only 3,400 made383 engine with Torqueflite transmissionOriginal factory red paint with black vinyl interiorIncludes excellent used rear bumper to replace the one that's on the car nowReplacement exhaust system inlcudedHas keys and clear title in my name so no paperwork hasslesStill has Certi-Card in holder under hoodA real eye-catcher when restoredThe bad:There's no denying that it's a project car...needs full restorationRear floor on passenger's side rusted outLocated in Freehold, NJ. $6,500.00.
  19. Not full-size by 1970's standards, but definitely full size today.....1971-1977 B-bodies (Coronet/ Charger/Satellite/Cordoba). Better fuel economy than full-size models (aka C-bodies). Fairly bulletproof mechanically (the 4-doors were the darlings of the taxi and police markets) and roomy. A well-equipped four-door or station wagon is much less expensive than a two-door version, and can be bought reasonably if you take the time to search. As with most cars, rust is the enemy so a western or southern car would be a better bet. Personally, I'd like a stick-shift Aspen or Volare, any body style as long as it's reasonably priced. Still kick myself for not buying one new....
