  1. Usually a mutually agreed deposit amount can be reached to hold the vehicle until bank arrangements can be made. Just get there early and be prepared to make a decision to buy early. Many cars are sold before the swap begins. It pays to have a vendor badge.
  2. Don't forget the Imperial Palace car collection.

  5. Brian, We will be leaving tow vehicles & trailers parked until Wednesday August 1st. And,I understand the committee is trying to get the OK to park the Pre-War Division trailers at a secured lot relatively close to the host hotel. Please advise when you have the details so we can put it in the PWD Newsletter. Thanks,
  6. Perhaps you should post this on the Buick site. I am sure you will get answers and photos if you need them.

  10. Steven, Welcome to the forum. The Steve M is right on. I too suggest that you join the BCA to get all the benefits of BCA membership, the Bugle publication and the Pre-War Division (no charge with BCA membership). To answer your question, I have purchased two wiring harnesses from Austrailia where our US dollars are still worth a bit more than face value. Even with shipping costs, it could still cost less down under. The quality is excellent too. http://www.vinwire.com.au/vehicles.htm
  11. They look like front brake cables. My 31 Buick has them.
  12. My 13 Buick has 9 5/8" Bosch lenses. Darn, I would have liked to have a spare set!
  13. BDL38S, Welcome to the forum! I suggest you join the BCA and the BCA Pre-War Division (PWD)to start getting the Bugle and the PWD newsletters. This forum and the articles in these publications, will soon become your best resources for information, parts and services to help you with your restoration. You will also meet people with similar cars to lend a hand.

  15. It's a BUICK....he didn't need a mechanic!
  16. Zonda is quickly becoming an expert by watching this forum. 250 wt tranny gear lube will also help you shift easier in your older car. The heavy lube helps to synchronize the gears more quickly.
