  2. GMC MASTER PARTS BOOK, 1967 through 1971, Published by General Motors Sept. 1970. Good used condition. Price: $15.00 plus $4.00 postage.
  3. BRANHAM'S Automobile Reference Books,, 1937, 1939, 1946, 1947, 1948, 1950. Each book covers cars and trucks for the year of publication and about seven years previous. Every model and body type, Engine and Serial numbers, number of cylinders, wheelbase, bore and strike, etc. 1937 is missing front cover, . All books are complete and intact inside. Price: $9.00 each, price includes postage, or $50.00 for the lot of six books.
  4. Flat Base Split Rim for 5.25 x 21" tire. Saved years ago from a Series 11-A parts car. Item is not restored, but in very good used condition. Clean, Smooth, and Straight. Price, $60.00 plus shipping.
  5. Franklin introduced hydraulic brakes on their 1928 Series 12 cars. That same year the Series 12-B long wheel-base cars were fitted with steel chassis frames, but the shorter cars retained the wood frame. In 1929 and onwards, all Franklins had steel frames; and of course hydraulic brakes.
  6. The Briscoe car was made at Jackson, Michigan 1914-1921 by Benjamin Briscoe who formerly had been associated with Jonathan D. Maxwell in the production of Maxwell cars. In 1916 the Briscoe came with a choice of 33 horsepower four-cylinder or 35 horse V-8, both on a wheel-base of 114". I never owned or drove one, but back in the sunny long ago of my mis-spent youth I once enjoyed a splendid night in my sleeping bag under a sheltering Briscoe Touring Car. Highly recommended!
