  1. Talked to the buyer in NJ, he said the car arrived safely on Thanksgiving, so less than 1 week coast to coast! Here is the broker he used: http://motormoversautotransport.com/
  2. I know! the car got picked up Friday, I am waiting to hear from the buyer in NJ how everything goes. So far I am very impressed with the price and pickup time (less than a week).
  3. I just got a quote to ship a car from Enumclaw WA to NJ for $900 open, $1275 enclosed....

  7. Here are a couple of bubbles, and there was also a black one for sale recently, but I can't find it right now: http://www.classicmotorcarsonline.com/1961-buick-invicta.shtml http://www.hemmings.com/classifieds/dealer/buick/lesabre/1575322.html
  8. Dave, Depends on the car and the level of customizations, how well done, etc. I took your "minimal bondo" comment to be a plus, meaning that there is very little bondo in the car (as some is typically needed for a 50 y/o car to be straight), as opposed to it being a bondo bucket, where bondo was used to hide damage. I have been following them for several years (and own a custom 61 LeSabre and a stock 61 Electra) and nice custom ones are typically priced in the high teens to even the low thirties. I agree with Pete and would say that Impala bubbletops are priced higher. If you have a chance to buy a real nice custom Impala for $20k, that is good buy. For a LeSabre or Invicta with air ride, 20's, disc brakes, nice paint and interior, nice chrome, etc., you will certainly be in the 20-30k range. Deduct from there if its lowered, but not air ride, or no disc brakes. Add if its a really nice example. Color combo will make a big difference in price as well, as expected. Nice stock examples are probably in the teens.
  9. nice, but expensive. Currently listed on Hemmings for $27,500
  10. same seller also has this 56 on ebay, which is also on CL for $8900 http://www.ebay.com/itm/Buick-Century-4-door-hardtop-1956-buick-century-4-dr-hardtop-/190953498872?forcerrptr=true&hash=item2c75b728f8&item=190953498872&pt=US_Cars_Trucks#ht_86wt_1014
  11. 65's should be painted Buick green, and as Don noted, the 66's were red.
  12. I have a friend who just picked up a 61 that he is parting out. Please post your contact info or email me at candjpollak@hotmail.com and I will get it to him. Thanks, Chris
  13. If you like the custom interior, this might be worth checking out. http://lasvegas.craigslist.org/cto/4127132561.html Heck, I would say a road trip to Vegas is worth doing, even if you don't like the interior! :>)
  14. Don't know what your price range is, but here is one in WA. I don't know the car. http://bellingham.craigslist.org/cto/4117081053.html

  17. Congrats Brian, looks great next to your 59 Buick. That is the way the garage is supposed to look, lol!
  18. I would still have to verify its #'s matching, I didn't see the VIN for the engine or car anywhere in the ad? It says it has an LX motor, but no pics of any numbers. Given the amount of work the car will need, $16k is high, IMO.
  19. Get in touch with Phil Roitman in NY, he has a couple, 1 has been in Hemmings as I recall. He is on v8buick.com as phillip roitman.
  20. FWIW, Louie Soto in NY has a 4speed, 4 door, 63 Wildcat.
  21. For what it is worth, here is the blue in a 4 door I had. I have no reason to believe it wasn't original.
  22. NOT Mine, looks pretty good for the money. Kansas City area I think. The car runs and drives good. Motor and transmission are good. The motor is a 307, V8 with a 4 barrel carburetor. It was kept in the garage for 5 years until about 1 year ago. The body is strait no major dents and the interior is in fair condition. Clear title. Can email more pics if interested. Asking $2,500 OBO 91 3-5 93-993 9 or 913- 231 -39 64 or 91 3-839 - 34six0 1982 Buick Riviera, $2,500 - Cars.com
