  2. Phil, Welcome aboard, beautiful car! Although I am somewhat partial to 61's, having two coupes (1 stock and 1 custom) and 1 4 door parts car. You might also want to check out www.v8buick.com, another great Buick forum! Have fun with that 61, hard to go wrong with it. What are your "custom" plans for it?

  4. Our local chapter of the BCA has an annual show, and the previous year's Best of Show winner is on the shirt. Here is the 2012 show shirt. The picture didn't turn out as clear as we hoped though.

  6. That car has been for sale for awhile I believe, both on CL and eBay. I was thinking I saw it last advertised at $8k? He says it is numbers matching and an LX motor, so it appears to be a real Gran Sport. This auction shows it selling for $9,500, but I am guessing that didn't happen?   8. beautiful car John! Brian, You may not recognize it, but this car used to be owned by Jeff Cornish out here in WA. I helped David Roth in Maryland buy it, and then he restored it to its current glory. It sure has come a long way!

  12. Here is a picture of my 65 Gran Sport by itself and also with another 65. The second picture was taken at the Washington State 2011 All Buick Open, where mine won Best of Show and the black one won People's Choice. First time the top two awards went to Riviera's in the 18 year history of the show.

  16. Engine is sold, steering wheel chrome has some pitting. I have the radio bezel for you though!
  17. Freemont seems to be an odd assembly plant and the rules don't always apply. I have seen 70 455's stamped where yours is as well as between the 1 and 3 cylinders. Seems the early build cars commonly had them stamped in the front, when was yours built?
