I am in Belgium but its always good to see whats for sale in the US and as we say when not interested we move to the next one . Today i saw a 1967 NSU with Wankel engine here with 26.9000 KM from 1967 for 2.000 Euro .It even was converted to LPG .It looked good but you can see it sat to long . I am a novice in the computer but will try to post a picture later.

This week takes a bad start !I broke a window crank handle this morning .My rear window was going up very bad and i put a little force on it and the handle broke in two .Mine are with a plastic inlay and i guess much more fragile than the other without the inlay .I looked on Ebay but no luck to find that model .I see many but without the plastic insert .I guess I will have to buy 4 without the plastic inlay to have all the same on the 4 doors .Of course if i could find one like mine it would be better but I think they all break easily and will have to be replaced now or later .

An easy one to finish ...wow.If we had a second life we could consider it but not in this life .Most of us have already to many cars and work ( And a wife also )

I ask already since months for a middle front bumper guard and its nowhere to find .

You can ask one of the members here to go and look if its not to far ( pay for his gas ) If he says its OK send 500$ as downpayment and send the rest to the shipping company who will pay him when its picked up .I did this in the past .

If this car was not in the US and I was not in Belgium , i would buy it , original paint and no rust visible (Arizona).i could use the 4 new tires ( expensive in Belgium (16 inch))I advertise since months for a middle bumper horn for my 40 Phaeton that is nowhere for sale it seems .And so many other parts and goodies ...

Parts car .I bet the motor still good because normally its full of water .I have seen that many times in burnt out cars .I could use the spare wheel for mine .

Some months ago i showed pictures from a very good Plymouth 1959 for sale in Belgium .On the pictures there was also a 1960 chevy coupe visible .Persons from this goup asked if it was for sale and now it is .Been sitting for to long so needs work from that reason , rust free and otherwise vg condition .It has only one carb .Asking 45.000 euros .I know the pictures are no good so don't tell me and its not my car

Recently i bought a 1940 super phaeton and the interior is in a newer material .I read the original sales brochure and it says for the phaeton leather or cloth .I have seen several phaetons till now and none had leather even the most expensive or i am mistaken and these are hides from a giant cow .The seat covers are in one piece and no cow is that big .Even the pictures in the catalog show one piece covers .So i am a little bit puzzled .

So mint is not the same as original ..Alternator , 12 volt , chrome strips , 2 carbs etc I know its in very good condition and won 4 local car shows in the neighborhood .I don't know how this will end .

Its a car i know from a man i know for years , Its a nice car , and putting a value on it is very difficult , on the other hand restoring such car is very costly also .

My car came from the US years ago .It has new wiring and no wires on the trunk lid ..but i will put 2 little lamps under the bumpers for safety .As said the 40 had no parking lights then as i found a single filament on top of the fender .Thanks for your help .

Strange , i found a one filament bulb on top of the fender so there was no parking light or no turn indicator in the front .As i thought the lever was for the turn indicator .Thanks

As of this moment i am working on my 1940 Super , i see there are no turn signal indicators in the front or rear .In the front I only have the sealed beams and the parking lights on top of the fenders or are these the turn indicators in the front ?.The rear nothing ...until today i see on Ebay that the red buick eight covers on the trunk are used as turn signals .I see this little handle under the steering wheel and is this the turn indicator ?? I have to ask down here if I can use turn indicators so close to each other .Under my red glasses on the trunk I find nothing there ( no lamp housings )I guess i will put two extra lamps under the rear bumper and use these as turn indicators and in the front I will put lamp housings in with 2 functions -parking and flasher .Up to next surprise ...

Its a good looking car but with my long legs I cannot move behind the steering wheel .I can just sit in it and look out the window .That gear shifter will block me .I could put it im my living room to wath TV .So many cars of that age are a problem especially with the separation outfit .

I have to ask a specialist if the bumper guard from a 1939 would fit on a 1940 front bumper .Do they have the same curve or not .I can have 1939 front middle bumper horn but i don't know if it fits on a 1940........

900$ for 2 optima batteries ?? I just bought one 6 volt battery for 180 Euro = 195 $ .Was on my doorstep the next day .700$ for fuel pump ..down here you can buy sheets and cut them to size and put them in the pump .Those sheets cost 10-15 a piece .I am happy it does not cost so much down here in Belgium .I just finished the brake system overhaul on my 40 Buick phaeton for 50Euro .New rubbers in the pumps after good cleaning out and inspecting the insides .Everything was new 30years ago .

Hallo , i look for the big bumper guard in the middle of the front bumper.My car looks so naked without a bumper guard or some ornament that fits there.

Its a good thing to hide your licence plate numbers , otherwise someone would see your numbers ??
