I bought the car months ago but I had to wait long time before i could get it .Comes out of a private museum .Sat for to many years .Was restored in the US and then put to rest .I poured in some oil and a little gas and clean the points and it ran .Now i am working on the brakes and soon also the carb .I need some parts and one part will be very hard i guess ..It the part that goes up with the rear window when it is raised .i saw it on a 2-door also last week.

When i was in the army and we had to go for a truck driver license , the instructor would put your watch behind the left rear tire on a slope and with the hand brake on , then you had to leave without crashing your watch .If your watch survived you did get your licence . -
I would say the one who took of the head can put it back on also .Would that be a big job to put the head back on ? As a buyer i would go over to the seller and i guess in a good days work the head is back on and you can start the engine and see and hear what happens .I would even use the old gasket just to try it and later swap it with a new one .Just my idea ..

Those headlight brows are forbidden here in Belgium .When you hit a unlucky pedestrian with those things you can hurt or kill him .And then your insurance will not cover you as you should not have them . -
I can help you .You look at this 3.000$ car ?? This is not a 3.000$ car but one that is at least a 10.000$ car from the pictures i see .It needs paint and chrome and maybe engine work .So if you drive up there keep that in mind , stop dreaming and come back to reality .I never buy a car that needs paint or chrome , people ask me where do you go to chrome parts or get a car painted ...i say nowhere because its ages ago since i needed chrome or paint on one of my cars that i bought or have .The last one i bought is a restored 1940 Buick cvt that sit since ages in a private museum that will only need to be brought back to life with new brakes , pumps and little things .Motor is free i know ( moved it myself ) All this i do myself and only costs dimes in parts .Stop dreaming !
