    I can get 18 mpg in my '54 if I keep it below 55 mph.
  4. I run 10W 30 in all of my Buicks and have had no problems with it.
  5. I think that the C.T. stands for conventional transmission (manual trans.).

  10. I went to my prom in my Dad's 1956 DeSoto Fireflite. It had the hemi in it and he couldn't figure out why he only got 8,000 miles off of the rear tires.
  11. Can you show us a picture of the exhaust manifold?
  12. Those are called silver dollar filters and that center screw was meant to take apart the two halves so that the filter element in the inside could be cleaned out. They were then reassembled with a new gasket.

  19. I use 80W 90 gear oil in my Buick differentials with no problems and no leaking.
  20. I have run the Pertronix ignition in all of my Buicks for years with no problems.
  21. You will have to use the timing chain cover and the water pump off of the 264 to go on the 322. I believe the carb from the '55 and the '56 will work.
