  1. What kind and brand of Automatic Transmission Fluid did you use in your rebuilt Dyna Flow?
  2. I have for sale an excellent unrestored original 52,000 mile Buick Century 4-door Riviera hardtop model 63D. Dover white over Electron blue, paint code CCD. Trim code 623. This car is equipped with power steering and power brakes, radio and heater. The car runs great. The paint, chrome and interior are all original and in very good condition. There is no rust anywhere. Asking $15,500.00. Send me a PM and I'll e-mail pictures. Steve Wright, BCA #6827 Mariposa, CA

  8. For Sale: 364 cid nailhead engine S/N 6D2032583 from a 1957 Buick Century. This engine is a short block (no heads). $50.00.
  9. The reason Buick did not use exhaust manifold gaskets was for better heat transfer from the head to the manifold. Nailhead V8s did not use manifold gaskets either. This kept the heads cooler.
  10. I think that you should put that Chevy engine and running gear in it and then I'll come down from Mariposa and buy that tired old 264 from you.
  11. I have a '55 Special and it also had cooling problems. To correct it, I had the radiator recored, installed a 180* thermostat and a six bladed fan with a 1.5 inch extension in order to get the fan closer to the radiator. I then used a 50% mixture of coolant with distilled water and "Water Wetter." Now, the car never runs hotter than 195* even in 100* weather. Also, you might want to run premium fuel that has a higher octane rating.
