  1. I got rid of the 4 blade stock fan and used a 6 blade flex fan with a longer extension to move the fan closer to the radiator and that helped cool down the engine. I did this to all of my Buicks.
  2. I think that Bob's Automobilia carries the hub cap clips.
  3. I plan on doing the carpet in my '56 and will probably go with SMS.
  4. I have an electric fuel pump located near the gas tank and prime the carburetor when it has been sitting for a while. Also, I run a 50/50 mix of premium fuel and 100 LL Av gas once a year. That really perks them up.
  5. What kind of transmission fluid do I use in a Dynaflow transmission?
  6. I know that the rear springs of a '50 Buick have left hand threads at the lower attachment.
  7. It would be nice if someone could make those BCA frames to fit the larger older YOM plates.
  8. A very beautiful car. This is one of my favorites!

    55 Dynaflow

When I restored my '55 Special I used a transmission from a '55 Super and just changed out the output shaft and housing. It worked out great.
  10. A friend of mine just bought a 1957 Buick Special and the transmission is toast. Does anyone know where I could get one for him?
  11. At the rear of the carburetor.
  12. I have for sale a set of A/C - Heater controls for sale. These are in very good condition with no broken levers or parts. Fits a 1963 Riviera only. $100.00 OBO. I will send pictures upon request.
  13. I want to know where I could find an original (Silver Dollar) fuel filter for a 1954 - 1956 Buick.
  14. I need a stock factory wheel from a 1949 through 1954 Chevrolet passenger car.
  15. I just installed one of Brad's front sway bars on my 1956 Buick Century and it made one big difference in the handling. I live in the Sierra Nevada Mountains with all of these curvy roads and this sway bar flattens them all out. If you own a '54, '55, or '56 Buick you need to get one of these for your car!
  16. I just installed a heavy duty front sway from brad54 on my '56 Buick Century and what a difference it makes in the handling of that car. It is so much better than the puny little stock sway bars. I also have them on my '54 and '55 Buicks.
  17. I am the second owner and it has been in my family since new. It belonged to my great aunt and I acquired it 40 years ago when she couldn't drive anymore. It had 14,000 miles on it.
  18. I am talking my 1956 Buick Century off of the market. I sold my 1965 Wildcat instead.
  19. I don't know how to post pictures. I have tried in the past with no results.
  20. 1956 Century 4 door hardtop model 63. This is an original, unrestored, and unmodified 53,000 mile car in excellent condition. A rust free California automobile that is fully equipped. Dover white top, electron blue middle and bottom. $13,500 OBO. Will send pictures upon request.
