  1. Looks like I might have to make one. Does anyone else need same?
  2. WANTED 1929 Packard 645 Fuel Tank Inlet and Cap (Inlet Cover). Thank you.
  3. WANTED 1930 Packard Fuel Tank Cap (Inlet Cover). Parts Book says all the 7th and 8th series "Inlet Covers" are the same - Part Number 175164 (Except 745). By the way, If anyone should have one for a 745, I'm interested too - similar looking but much larger. Thank you.
  4. The three shocks were added to the thread by another member - the Chev ones?
  5. Just double checked and the four shocks in the photo are the four the I provided serial numbers for. In that process, I did find some very different ones that I think are Packard - maybe 31-33 era, If they were 1930 or earlier, I'd recognise them. I'll get a couple of photos tomorrow.
  6. What other shock photos are you referring to?
  7. Sorry for the LONG delay. My workshop/storage areas were a shambles and I couldn't find them. 8. Agreed, avoid touching it - leave it to the next custodian to make those decisions and hopefully, it will remain as is. They are only original once.
  9. I just measured one of my 5th series 6 cylinder radiators and the core measures about 62mm or 2 1/2".
  10. So the yellow wheels above would only be correct for 1920?
  11. Can Bob advise when Dodge started using steel felloes instead of wooden ones on their cars. I realize that 1920 (as those above) were steel but what about 1919, 1918 and 1917?
  12. The contents would be the same but the case is not.. The RHD ones have pedals that mount to the chassis frame NOT on the transmission case. Also the clutch lever enters from the RHS. Thanks.
  13. Yes - early production 8th series - standard 8.
  14. Nothing like my 29, 30 or 31 and after that they were V shaped.
  15. Thanks Dave but I have much 1931 stuff. I have friends who may be keen on 1931 parts. Send me details. My interest is 1928-1930 Big Eight open cars. I have quite a lot for a 1928 model 443 - except a chassis.
  16. I am currently looking for a Packard 443 chassis so recently placed a Wanted ad for same. edmonsonpeter@gmail.com and nicolasburwell78@gmail.com both replied. The former had a complete car - a silver 443 club sedan. The latter had a complete car - a 443 club sedan that he was going to part out because of surgery. Both sent photos and .....you guessed it. The photos were of the same car - one currently for sale in Germany. Here's a tip when one of these grubs offers you something!. Get photos. Right click your mouse on the photo and google can search for that exact photo and reveal its actual origins.
