1927-1928 ? Erskine parts for sale
George Rohrbach replied to George Rohrbach's topic in Studebaker, Erskine & Rockne
Janthetoolman1 Sorry, I don't have a ring and pinion. I also have no advice on where to find one! RBK gave you good advice on places to try. 30DodgePanel Sorry, I also don't have an oil filter. I thought I might, and checked another location, but it is a gas vacuum tank! rbk Bob, the Delco-Remy Starter is a 720-N Serial 101781. I was not able to cross the #. chris piazza I do have a lot of 1935 parts. Way to many to list. You are right that one of my projects is a 1935 Commander Roadster. I have been acquiring spares for it since 1997. I also have most of the remains of a 1935 Dictator Sedan parts car (they share a lot of parts!). Get me a list of what you might want, by regular email. georgr@ptd.net -

I am still doing cleaning and inventory in my garage. I have these parts on a couple of shelves, and my memory is that they were all 1927-1928 Erskine. I do not need any of them for my own 1929, so I thought I would see if anyone else could use them. If there is something you see that you might be interested in, I would be glad to take a closeup pic for you. Although these pics are HD so you should be able to magnify. Ask for more info. Just make me a fair offer. I will ship only smaller items, for actual shipping cost. I can deliver parts to Hershey and Studebaker meets coming up at Dunkirk NY, and Reedsville PA. The next 4 replies from me are are more parts pics. George Rohrbach

Here is a pic of the front contour. Dimensions are: Front bottom width: a little bigger than 21". Front height to center of hood: about 24". Rear bottom width: about 34". The 4 louvers are at the back of the hood. Thanks for trying to figure this out!

Anyone have an idea what this hood might be from? Size of side panel is 32"x19". Only 4 louvers per side! I am in the process of trying to clean out my garage. Thanks, George Rohrbach

George Rohrbach replied to Patrick J Reeve's topic in Studebaker, Erskine & Rockne
Patrick, I have some Studebaker older rear axle set ups, that I have no way to identify. Do you have a way for me to tell if I have what you need? George Rohrbach -

Unable to post to a thread
George Rohrbach replied to George Rohrbach's topic in Forum Questions and Answers
I forgot tot mention, that I was using Microsoft Edge. I tried using Internet Explorer, and have no problem. I guess my problem is within Edge. -
Periodically I am unable to post to an existing thread. For example I can not currently post a reply to Studebaker, Erskine & Rockne: 1931 Studebaker Radiator, either by using Reply to this topic (at top of page) or Reply to this topic...(at bottom of this page). Nothing happens when I click on them. However, other topics work just fine. Any ideas? Thanks, George Rohrbach

Vac tank for 1926 Chry
George Rohrbach replied to Frank Wilkie's topic in Chrysler Products - General
I am not a Chrysler guy, and don't know anything about vacuum tanks. But I have been doing some cross referencing on my Studebaker parts. I did find in my Stewart literature that tank for Chrysler 1926 70 is 215-W and H-G 6 cyl is 215-R. I don't know if this helps you out or not. Sorry, I can't provide any further help on this. Piston Identification Help ?
George Rohrbach replied to George Rohrbach's topic in Studebaker, Erskine & Rockne
Gary, I have sent them email, thanks for the link. Graham - thanks, if I can't find out from the manufacturer, I'll give it a try. George -
I have been doing inventory on some of my parts. Last week was pistons, mostly Commander Big Six. Of course the easy ones were the Studebaker brand. However I do have some after market also. The way I identified those was by measurement - fairly easy. 3.250 and up are 1934 to 1937. 3.3125 and up are 1948-1960, Iron ones are 1942. However, I have a set of 4 Aluminum ones, that mic out to 3.140. Which does not match. I thought the might be Champ, but they are 3 inch, and a .140 over does not seem logical. From what I can find, Rockne STD pistons start out at 3.125. If it was .015 over, that could be a match. Or come up with another idea? I have spent hours checking on the net, and could not find anything. The pistons are marked Silv-0-lite S-115. Just in case anyone has a old Silv-0-Lite catalog. Thanks

I have a 2006 Yukon. Factory info says tire pressures should be 32lbs. New tires say MAX 80. What should tire pressure be for normal driving? How about when towing a car trailer? Thanks
