  1. Excellent looking job on the bumper. They are a thrill to line up, that is true!
  2. Hey Jason- I got your pm and took a look. No joy for that bracket here. I had a chrome one that was really cool looking , need to find that thing!
  3. New one to me! Is this white plastic part something that you have seen before? It looks like part of the turn signal cancelling system. Any help because I've not done too much on the wood wheels - I thought there was a roll pin that cancelled the signal. Ted
  4. Finally finishing restorations on 2 of my 65 Wildcats. Both purchased in 1999. I had been looking for a 4-speed starting in 1995. I was settling on an automatic coupe and it was being shipped when I found a 4-speed coupe - a lead from Pete Phillips (editor of the Buick Bugle!) and I had another one coming from Texas. Here is the one from Texas...just got paint correction.
  5. Revisiting this project - update! Austin Osborn of Speed Detailing came down from INDY and put a shine on this bad 'Cat! Getting ready for a big MCACN display of the BIG Buick Muscle! Ready? no but working hard to get them together. Cheers, T
  6. Inner front fender braces- who knew they had GS specific holes! Makes sense. Brake and fuel lines attached. Looking fine.
  7. It looks like you want the chrome ones for the aluminum valve covers. I think I could find the plain steel ones in my piles but I know I have no extra chrome bits. Ted
  8. WTB 1978 Buick Electra Headlight Bezels Thank you, Ted
  9. Checking in without much evidence of progress here. We are heading to Spokane this week! Hope to see some of you there.
  10. Coker Tire: https://www.cokertire.com/amfinder/index/index?finder_id=31781744
  11. About time for another Red White and Blue photo shoot.
  12. Easy to swap whole rear end from the 3.42 to 3.08. My 68 GS400 automatic is great with the stock 2.93. In Ohio we have the best Jim Monzaz at JD Race. http://www.jdrace.com/
  13. Door panel looks great, and good job on the window lickers! You should give a class on the installation, us big car guys need this on about every car.
  14. The Great Lift Installation yesterday - started at 10, 4 cars out, 2 lifts out, trip to Ace, trip to Home Despot, back to garage, back to Home despot, erect 2post lift, back to Ace (closed) back to home despot...wiring not cooperating, 1 lift back in , 3 cars back in...done for the day. My brother in law Max was the only reason we got as far as we did. Just a few things to finish up and the other lift can come back in and the inop 68 LeSabre can go on the lift for fuel and brake line replacement.
  15. Frame #3 stripped of excess components, ready for sandblasting. Not dipping anymore unless we get the inside coating as well.
  16. When dad needed a clutch for his '38 Cadillac we sent it to https://fortwayneclutch.com/. They shipped it back "done" the next day IIRC. Fantastic service. I've since had them do my Wildcat clutch/pressure plate/flywheel assemblies with excellent results.
