  1. Id like to know what the fuel injection is...makes me think of a hot rod snow mobile I saw years ago...I agree that it's about $30K too high. Even the Fitch versions don't usually crack $20K
  2. I think I read that the first rule of successful selling is to know your product. I see it has an alternator, so it could possibly have a 4 speed conversion but I doubt it. https://reno.craigslist.org/cto/d/sparks-1928-ford-model-museum-quality/7509551528.html We are pleased to offer this elegant 1928 Ford Model A Roadster for your consideration. It is powered by its 3.3L in line-4 motor which is paired with a manual transmission with 4 speeds! The motor fires right up idles smooth and gets this iconic classic Ford going down the road. This vintage automobile is in great condition and has been well maintained and displayed in an auto museum in California for the last 15 years. The car is finished in what appears to be Valley Green with black fenders. The car is in excellent condition and as you can see the car was redone top to bottom and the underside is neat and tidy as well. 3. It's amazing that Chey was able to match Ford's pricing...there has to me a lot more labor in a metal on wood body.
  4. The way the drought is going here in California, if you used in to haul water you'd need an armed guard.
  5. Strange and rare vehicles are why this site is FUN! I googled it and there's good info about Armleder on Coach Built: http://www.coachbuilt.com/bui/a/armleder/armleder.htm
  6. Selling something on Craigslist always brings out a few flakes, I can only imagine what you'd get on Facebook....
  7. I think the 28 Chevy is closest to Model A in specification (4 Wheel brakes and revised 4 cylinder with only slightly fewer horses than the A) and they are typically significantly less than the Ford. The later Chevy's have the stove bolt 6 which can push them higher but they don't have nearly as many active clubs and parts support.
  8. I don't know about $45K but it is a very impressive car. Sounds like a "flipper". https://losangeles.craigslist.org/lac/cto/d/union-city-1933-oldsmobiles-f33-dual/7507242105.html Up for sale for the first time is this very rare 1933 Oldsmobile F33 4 door sedanOut of a private collector firstSuper clean OldsmobileRuns great!! 9. Needs paint and the radiator shell should be plated, but those wire wheels really make it look nice! https://indianapolis.craigslist.org/cto/d/thorntown-1929-chrysler-coupe-rumble/7507997241.html Call for details (765) 894-0436Two skids of extra partsRuns and drives
  10. Seems a heck of a deal! No major mechanical work is cheap these days, but these engines are relatively simple, should it be needed (says "close to running").
  11. Looks nice but I think the seller is confusing "rare" with "valuable" The film connection would add something if it was a movie anyone remembered. No information about actual condition of the car, unfortunately. https://wichita.craigslist.org/cto/d/wichita-1923-reo/7507151045.html email: 0fa7ca8d7eed36dfbb5e51b0b2e0dcce@sale.craigslist.org Beautiful 100 year old car! Was restored many years ago and was in a museum for many years. It is know as a T6 Phaeton. One of a few KNOWN TO EXIST!Was featured in Car Classics magazine. It also was in a 1973 movie called "Ace Eli & Roger of the Skies" (Filmed in Mt. Hope, Ks.)In the movie Cliff Robertson, Pamela Franklin, Rosemary Murphy and appearing for the first time was Bernadette Peters!I even have pictures with the film crew using the REO to shoot the picture, in which a platform was built around the car for the camera man and director. They did not have "dash cams" back in those days! The tag was added while in the museum. Pretty cool since it has lived most of its life in Kansas.I have had the car in several car shows in my day just to show it off and help with fund raisers! As you will notice it will need a bit of a touch up on the paint. the odometer is accurate and not rolled over.Has been stored inside a metal shed all of its life since leaving the museum.
  12. It's been for sale for a while. Looks nice but the pictures in the ad are bad and not much information is given. They say they drive it, you would think they'd drive it outside for the pictures! https://kansascity.craigslist.org/cto/d/wilcox-1931-chevy-w-coupe/7498273979.html email: 8c2daa7ba66a3d71a3e72edb495215c3@sale.craigslist.org 1931 Chevy 5 W coupe..very nice original condition...all original drive train...contact me with any questions...
