  9. There is a market for these (mostly in England) but a really excellent one is about $30K, so looking at all that's needed here, it'd guess this should be under $10K somewhere, and maybe way under if they want it gone anytime soon.
  10. We seem to be having a spurt of these! Here's another one, they want $32K . It's nicer for sure, but is it $11K nicer? https://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/threads/1932-ford-b-model-pickup.1269779/
  11. Looks like a very usable truck https://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/threads/32-pu-stock-chassis-4cyl-12v-fresh-assembly-driver.1268220/ Has an electric windshield wiper, a powered H2O heater, and turn signals. PM through the website if interested
  12. That is really something! It makes you wonder if during the design phase, did they start with a clean shape and add ornamentation, or did they start with the ornamentation and build a car around it. Fins on top of fins!
  13. Maybe it's not as bad as it first appears...(or maybe not) https://inlandempire.craigslist.org/cto/d/rancho-cucamonga-1929-buick/7510109742.html 1929 Buick 4dr sedan, straight 6, manual trans, original, $6000.00 obo., Been sitting for over 20 years, have signed pink from previous owner but never transferred, sold with bill of sale. email b5827bd0c8893a868a5ccd544d570ca5@sale.craigslist.org
  14. I wonder if the price includes the lederhosen https://medford.craigslist.org/cto/d/medford-1938-international-pick-up/7510600945.html Besides being an International, this truck has some special things about it:optional long bed, which was more sought after and harder to get before WW2. has the coveted 4 speed manual transmission.does not have any modifications to its originality except its 12 volt. Nothing has been welded, butchered or changed out for non-original parts and it still has its matching, as delivered, 6 cylinder engine. Zero rustUndercarriage has been painted, serviced and detailed. New bias ply tires. Many parts have been re-chromed.Original, rare, artillery International- only rims- all 5 and painted correct dark green, with re-chromed original D2 hubcaps.Runs and drives and stops just fine with original components. Rebuilt carburetor, rebuilt starter, replaced main bearings with NOS originals, water pump, rebuilt generator, restored gauge cluster, restored original steering wheel, rebuilt and recovered original bench seat, rebuilt brakes, new glass, rebuilt window regulators, etc.I custom fabricated the headlights which are in some of the photos but do NOT go with the truck. I still have the originals, which will go with it. I have owned this truck for many years now and have driven it in parades, Christmas events and many scenic tours. Clear California title with the original California plates registered to it. email: 58b394b76a6d388db78aeae4341a143d@sale.craigslist.org
  15. I've had a lot of interesting cars over the years, but I think if I could only get one of them back it would be my old 912.
  16. I bet everybody on this forum has a "regret" story or two! About 1969 a guy wanted to trade me a 300SL Roadster for my '66 Porsche 912 plus $500. I was scared off by look of the engine...it looked like something from the far future!
  17. Looks like Grandpa had a lot of money in it....I hope it can find a new owner once the current one comes to understand it's value. https://modesto.craigslist.org/cto/d/modesto-plymouth/7511000253.html Car drives and runs good. Engine has been rebuilt. Manual transmission with 3 on the tree. 6 cylinder engine. Paint job is real shiny and free of defects. Interior has been redone. Rear suicide doors. This car only needs minor details. This was an inheritance. We have too many cars. Will negotiate. Must see to appreciate a true classic. $23,000 (209) 605-0771
  18. Looks like it would be easy to finish and enjoy. https://redding.craigslist.org/cto/d/redding-1931-model-ford/7511041692.html Mostly restored, Brand New Engine, New Tires, Mostly All New Parts, Needs Fuel Tank Cleaned. Purchase comes with everything We Have For The Model A (307) 690-0446

  20. Definitely later wheels. The steel discs are heavy but I've always liked their looks! These are Disteel (after market)
  21. Obviously, a lot more information is needed, but I think this price is pretty optimistic no matter what. https://visalia.craigslist.org/cto/d/visalia-1929-chevrolet-coupe-classic/7510062547.html Very rare car is almost all original and runs but needs some TLC. This is the very first 6 cylinder car. Clean title.
  22. That's probably why the big 8s Chrysler came out with for the Imperial had 7 main bearings. At the other end of the scale, Duesenberg and Miller both had 3 main bearing 8's in the early 20's that could hit over 5,000 RPM. I think they must have had a lot of extra clearance...
