  3. It's plenty ugly, but if lower profile tires were used and the wheel diameter increased substantially you'd really have something.
  4. I hope no-one wastes their time inquiring about it. Just put it up for auction and see what the bids are.

  10. What movie is that picture at the top of this thread from?
  11. The Jensen Interceptor is a grand touring car which was hand-built at the Kelvin Way Factory in West Bromwich, near Birmingham in England, by Jensen Motors between 1966 and 1976. The body was designed by an outside firm, Carrozzeria Touring of Italy, rather than the in-house staff. The early bodies were built in Italy by Vignale, before Jensen took production in house, making some subtle body modifications.
  12. The private party advertising disappeared long ago, and that was the only thing I saw value in.
  13. Yes I found it. That's the same building with the chimney near the dormer in a strange place to put a chimney. Corner of Richmond Road and Seaview Avenue. Someone with a Locomobile could go there and re-create the picture.
  14. You should trade your Darrin for it.
  15. Great job identifying the car. Would like to know where this is? What intersection? Wonder if the building is still there? Probably not.
  16. What does that sign say? Can't make it out. DONGAS - something? I know it can't be DONGAS but something like that?
  17. A bit off-topic, but here goes: I told the people working at the Target store that a dozen of their shopping carts were across the street, where a homeless guy was staying in the parking lot of a shuttered fast food place. I even offered to go get them if they didn't want to bother because i do not like seeing theft being condoned. You know what i was told? Oh no don't do that. We don't want them. Insurance pays for it. We could not use them anyway because they would be considered unsafe or unsanitary. besides, and they emphasized this by saying it more than once : Insurance pays for it. Wow. I guess with that attitude I could load 10 of their carts in the back of my pickup and drive home with them and it would be OK, insurance would pay for it. No harm. No foul. No loss.
  18. General Motors is even Self-Insured with respect to employee health care, employee "health insurance." General Motors is partnering with Henry Ford Health System to offer a new direct-to-employer health insurance option next year. GM, which is self-insured, will continue to offer its other plans (PPOs with a wider range of choices, but higher premiums) in addition to ConnectedCare in 2019. The Detroit, Michigan-based automaker's five-year contract with the 103-year-old hospital system requires all participating employees to receive all care, including routine checkups, surgeries and more, through Henry Ford Health System
