You might want to add an external cooler, but to this day there are lots of folks across Europe caravaning with old Buicks.

18mm is actually very common on GM suspensions, but whoever puts wrench & socket sets together obviously doesn't work on GM stuff. I even have 18mm combo wrenches and sockets that have the face ground flat for those low profile torque converter bolts.

Yeah, we know. You live close enough to Kissimmee that you drove it home and had it parked in Buick Gardens before you even posted this.

Was buying Poncho parts in OKC last week and stumbled across these gems at LKQ. If you are unfamiliar, LKQ parts prices are menu based, not rarity based, so they are often abnormally cheap. For instance, the big trunk emblem off the Chieftain cost me $2… I believe the LeSabre had it’s entire factory AC system intact. The Riv looks like it probably spent its whole life in Oklahoma. Pretty solid looking to me.

Hey! I’ve strongly considered painting Bertha in that scheme!

55 Buick Dynaflow Low Band does not work

Most people can drive without low their entire lives… lol Sometimes bad motor mounts shift the linkage out of whack. The detents are in the column, not in the transmission, so feeling it click into place means nothing. -

I’m in Wichita and heard the news this morning through a local car club. If folks would like, I can share this thread with Kathy after people have had time to leave their regards.

Just now seeing this... lol I don't know for sure who I was thinking of back in 2017, but if you swing by the O'Reilly's just north of Pawnee on Seneca during the day and ask for Tom, the store manager. Here's a photo of him and 3 of his Buicks from a show in 2016:
