  1. I didn't buy it, but I think it was a good buy depending on the underbody condition. Lots of room for spending on interior repair and paint touch up , if you can do it yourself. Way more fun then a used Toyata
  2. The engine is modified with Clifford high compression aluminum head and exhaust headers. Most likely rebuilt? It's a coupe in the last year of " Real" Hudsons. The color is one of the better options that year. I think it's a $20K car unless it has serious undisclosed problems. The seat can be repaired easily. My Wife drove a 54 Hornet as a daily driver in the 70's. It was a " Dealer Demo" with power steering and brakes. We owned 13 Hudsons through the years , The 49 Commodore being the best road car.
  3. Many cars used that model Hobbs light , trunk or hood
  4. looks industrial , forklift or tractor? Any numbers?
  5. Matt Harwood's prices are always boldly listed , at the end of the ad. I always scroll down first and then go back and read the description.
  6. 1936 Hudson/ Terraplane used same bolt pattern as Ford? They have a wheel that looks similar?
  7. Could you post a photo of the bottom? Room for a plunger? Looks like a solenoid to activate something heavy duty, top motor or similar.
  8. Take a look at some photos of 51- 53 Hudson , vent windows.
  9. 48-51 Hudson Commodore and Hornet There's a lot of them out there , the lenes are worth saving Keiser replied while I was typing
  10. Tell everyone it's for a Harley , it will be in high demand with triple value, lol It actually does look similar to motorcycle dress up lights , but they are normally chrome or stainless like the one in the link I posted. It's very much like a Guide light I have , which is listed as a backup light by the number on it. Check the bulb , if it has one. A high candle power bulb would be backup , low power would be running light or park light.
  11. Looks like Buick , 50's, but may bean aftermarket replacement
  12. Aftermarket , probably J.C. Whitney
  13. The grille and hood ornament and crank cover are definitely worth saving. Headlight buckets also if not rusted through. Check ebay " Sold" pricing to get an idea if it's worth your effort.
  14. Thanks for the input. I had it on the Hudson forum and they id'd it. I see it's similar but no cigar. I'll keep looking , probably go unidentified long after I'm gone. Roy
