  1. Don't blame you Matt. Here in Toronto (current temp -4F) I have a heated and insulated garage, but no matter how warm the air temp is inside, and I can get it to 65-70 F in any weather the floor is still awfully cold. Keith
  2. I have a '56 Roadmaster with factory air, and I believe that I have might have some literature, as well as the section in the owners manual, is this something that would be of interest to you? Keith
  3. Wow, just beautiful! Nothing else I can say. Keith
  4. Whenever you post them, Mike, it will be worth the wait! Keith
  5. Dale; Glad to hear that your maidien voyage went well! Don't feel bad about not having a hood, as I took my '41 on its' maiden drive with the complete front clip off! Anyway, Happy New Year! Keith
  6. Quite a bit of snow out there, here in Toronto we had about 1/2" of ice instead! Keith
  7. Welcome to the forum, this is a great place to get information, and to trade stories about our cars. I noticed that you own a '67 Triumph Vitesse. A friend of mine owned one here in the Toronto, Ontario area, his was a bit older, a '65, I think, this was back in the late 60's to early 70's, when he had to get rid of it due to rust issues in the frame, but it was a very rare car. A blast to drive through the countryside where we lived. In retrospect, it was nothing that couldn't been fixed, and I've done much worse over the years, but at the time we were both right out of school, and didn't have the resources. Sadly, it was eventually scrapped. Anyway, enjoy the '37! Keith
  8. Mike; I'll second John's comment, about how you've shared your progress and tips. I enjoy all the threads on the forum, but I think this one is my favorite, as I really love the woodies, though I've never owned one, but your thread allows me to dream a bit more. I'll make a bad pun here, but the Super is looking Super! A Happy New Year to all! Keith
  9. "I'll have to find another excuse!" Well, here's few. - I just bought a new baby grand piano, (this is true) I could of bought and at least partly restored this car with what I spent on the piano. Though the piano is easier on gas than a '48 Roadmaster. - I have my wife's '68 Wildcat convert to do next. - I don't have anywhere to keep it. I'm sure I can think of a few more, if needed! But I sure do like those 47 and '48 Sedanettes! Keith
  10. Looks promising, and this time it's only a few hours drive away. I'll have to find another excuse! Keith
  11. The body is looking great! Have a Merry Christmas! Keith
  12. Lovely and congrats. Much better than the weather we're getting tonight! Keith
  13. Very neat looking trailer, Mike! That A/C unit somehow doesn't go with the styling, though I'm sure it would of been practical in the desert. The interior looks quite good, also. It sounds like it would be quite a heavy unit to tow, with all that wood and masonite. Keith
  14. Congrats on successful test drive! I like the comment you made about how good your wife is at helping bleed the brakes, as mine is also now a proficient helper! Keith
  15. Just as well for me too, otherwise I'd be tempted to do the 6 hour drive to Montreal to try to buy it! I'd just LOVE one of these. So Rob and I can still be friends. Keith
  16. Mike; Nice to here from you again. I have been wondering about you and those wonderful woodies, as I hadn't seen anything for a while. Sorry to hear about your surgery, but I'm very glad to hear that you are getting on and about again! The progress is looking very good, keep it coming! Keith
  17. Beautiful looking car. I like Mr. Earl's idea, I could buy one for my wife, if I had the money and space! She's actually a bit of an enthuiast also, she has a '68 Wildcat convert. But that's another story. Keith
  18. <fieldset class="postcontent"><legend> Attached Thumbnails</legend> </fieldset> This reminds me of a BMW Isetta? Could it be a rebodied one? Keith
  19. I just found this thread. Very neat, I have visited Ocean City MD quite a few times, as I had a cousin that lived near there, even drove my '56 Roadmaster down there once, but never when there was a cruise on. It's about a 12-13 hour drive from home, so not an easy drive after work! Keith
  20. Good to be doing something other than cars, at least the odd time, mine is piano. Make some beautiful music with your Tuba, Matt!
  21. Dale; I don't know if you've tried CARS, I think that the online store is www.oldbuickparts.com, also, the Buick Farm might have an NOS. You could also try posting a want to buy on the forum here too. Hope this helps! Keith
  22. That's pretty much my experiences too. Keith
