  1. I'm pretty sure that's a German Bosch head light.
  2. This is a tough one. T model Ford, perhaps? I can see it has 12 spoke wheels, and a coilbox on the dash.
  3. That looks a lot like a Bugatti rear end, with that style of diff center housing, and the quarter-elliptic springs. It's not one of the early Bugattis, like a Brescia or type 30, maybe one of the later type 57's? something like that from the late 20's early 30's.
  4. I'd have a guess at it being a Buick, not sure what year, after 15.
  5. There was a very detailed article on the restoration of a Rollin that was in Australia in Restored Cars magazine (an Australian publication), and I think later exported to somewhere in Scandanvia. I've had a look through my back issues, but can't find that particular issue. It would have been in the last 10 years. The best I can suggest is emailing the editior of Restored Cars, and ask him. He'll know for sure, and maybe able to supply the issue in question. I think it would be good if you could get a copy, as it had a ton of info. 6. I don't think it's a Lancia either. The Lancia Artena, is close, but like you say, the bonnet is all wrong. With those steel artillery wheels, I'd lean towards something made in europe. Fiats were using those wheels in the late 20's, so it could still be something Italian.
  7. I've had a fair bit of luck in the past combing through the pre 1939 section of the German eBay vintage car section, searching for Bosch items. I'm probably giving away too much information here, but it can be a bit of a gold mine. You only have to ask the seller if they are willing to post overseas. bosch | eBay The trouble is, that to come across a switch exactly as you want may take a while. I'm sure there will be one available, somewhere.
  8. Perry, they did make a 6 cylinder version of The Edison-Splitdorf type CD. Here's the CD parts book page showing the 6 cylinder cap. Maybe the part numbers match up? http://www.oldengine.org/members/diesel/magnetos/Mag2.htm Both your caps appear to be unused New Old Stock items.
  9. Same as this one. Photo came from here: Vintage shots from days gone by! - Page 1661 - THE H.A.M.B.
  10. I think that's an International Harvester, about 1914-15-16, model E.
  11. The Kingston LD carburettor is off a 1925-26 Fordson tractor, fitted with the Kingston manifold. They are actually a bigger carburettor than a T model carburettor, even though they look the same. The throat is bigger, and I'd say the mounting bolts would be further apart. I'm restoring/collecting parts for a 1926 Fordson, and have studied these in detail.
  12. <hr style="color:; background-color:" size="1"> I think the second cap is off an Edison-Splitdorf Magneto, model CD. In this case, a CD6. Photo came from here; Welcome - Splitdorf - Indian & Splitdorf Generators
  13. This will answer the first question; IMCDb.org: 1954 Aston Martin DB2/4 DHC MkI in "The Birds, 1963" The IMCD IMCDb.org: Home page is an excellent reference source for cars in film type questions.
  14. It looks a lot like an early Rapid. Made 1902-07. Fore runner to the GMC. Here are a couple of photos. http://www.missmalini.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/01/Blog11.jpg All sizes | 1906 Rapid Bus | Flickr - Photo Sharing!
  15. This photo is in the AACA photo gallery, I can't place the make. What size are those tyres? Overall, a very nice looking car from the mid 20's. I can tell it's American, but can't place the make.
  16. It's a Darracq, about 1906-07, 10-12hp.
  17. It's a Chev, the radiator is 1925-26. I think it may have originally been a car, as the trucks have heavier wheels. The trucks also just had a simple fire wall in this period, and no scuttle. The cantilever springs were earlier than this, like the 490.
  18. That's a 1911 Hispano Suiza Alfonso. It was sold/is to be sold at auction recently/soon. I think the story goes that it was discovered in Spain? years ago as a rolling chassis, and as the buyer was picking it up, the seller casually mentioned that there was a body in another building that was off the car. 1913 Hispano-Suiza Type Alfonso XIII To Go Under The Hammer At Amelia Island Auction | Elite Choice http://www.rmauctions.com/FeatureCars.cfm?SaleCode=AM12&CarID=r231
  19. This eBay seller has been listing a lot of Dusenberg parts over the past few months. mechantique | eBay
  20. Yes you're right, I thought this was for a Roadster and the Gullwings had a frame going up through the roof, so it's probably the same chassis for the Roadsters and the Gullwing.
  21. Mercedes Benz 300SL Roadster with center lock Rudge wheels. I'd be happy to find even this much of a 300SL.
  22. It's similar to this one. The wire wheels shown in the original photo would have been an option, otherwise it's the same. Photo came from here; 1917 Hudson Super Six Speedster Factory Photo | eBay
  23. I'd say it's a Hudson Super 6 Speedster, about 1917-18.
