  1. It cleaned up very nicely from the original photos when it was in TX. I like this one a lot - a very commanding presence but still kinda serene.
  2. I hope this doesn't end up another run of the mill street rod!
  3. Hoo boy, that article. I consider myself to be well-versed in the history of organized crime in Chicago and I've never, ever seen the name Mae Dury mentioned, even in the most tenuous of ways (and believe me, people like to fabricate stories about Capone all the time, especially when it comes to buildings). That said, basic Google searching shows that Mae Dury owned a popular super club in Duck Creek WI, sold it in the early '60s and retired to Gaastra MI, where her house was featured in an article in 1970. No idea when she died.
  4. If it were closer it would be in my garage.
  5. This is a lovely one - someone is gonna score a gem! And hopefully, will leave this one mostly alone.
  6. Questions: - was this actually an option on these? - how hard are these to remove?
  7. If it's not a scam, it's probably already gone!
  8. At least the cars done by Dunham Coach had some semblance of a theme or planning.
  9. Also FWIW it would seem that the original owner listed on the card was the owner of the namesake horn manufacturing company that's still in business in Two Rivers.
