1932 confederate 2 door, "the other deuce" SALE

Recommended Posts

I have owned my 1932 Chev Confederate since 1996. It had a body restoration and paint, new tires, powder coated rims, trunk rack and trunk, etc. Dual side mounts, cab lights, etc. I had it stored at the body shop that did the work. When I got it back the engine was frozen. I don't want to move away from original as it is a numbers matching car. So, I will sell it to someone who wants to deal with the engine. I have other cars and am going to focus on them. Odometer shows 11600 original miles. When I got it I took it into the shop and drained the fluids, they were all like new, it ran like a top. No rust underneath. Will work with a buyer with pictures, etc.

it is nota10. It is easily a 7, judge for yourself if you are interested.  I will reply to inquiries within a day or so. Want a good home for it. Thanks, SW.image.thumb.jpeg.9584580a4bd07c63b6ab0bda2a5872b0.jpeg

Hi folks, a few questions have come up. The car is in Plymouth, Ct. I want $12500 for it. Lots of room to finish or just get it running and enjoy it. Bank draft, cleared before release. I happen to have a title even though CT does not give them after 25 years, they gave me the title from the folks I purchased back when I registered, yes it is currently registered in CT.

I will be taking more detailed pictures this week and will send them to folks who are really interested. I not loving  selling it but being realistic about my projects.

One more thing, the paint is dark blue except in-sunlight when it is lighter as in the picture. Base oat, clear coat.

Hi I am in Ct as well and certainly cannot buy yet another 1932 car which is my favorite year of any brand, but want to say even though I always do not comment on $ values, I sure do comment on cars with the beauty & condition of that Chevy.  I hope it finds it's way to a 100% pure-stock lover as it's next custodian..  Wishing you Good fortune with taking on that task :)

EDIT, I would also like to say that if a newcomer to earlier prewars cars is comparing cars to purchase, that car being a 2 door sedan has much more driver room for bigger/taller people, as well has having a much wider door than a 4 door, making entrance so easy.

Thanks F&J, I also love this car. It is my second one and I've kept it sitting far too long. I am listing it here because it is too nice to cut up.

I have a 35 Chevy Standard two door that is a street rod (purchased that way). I would not change anything on this to "modern". At this point is should be a fun 32. Family rides and whatever driving experience brings the owner back to the 30's. Thanks for your input.

Steve.

cahartley, that 32 has also been one of my loves. I love the 31-35 two door sedans. My street rod is a 35 Chop Top. (I bought it that way so no one get upset that I cut one up). I had been keeping the 32 totally stock because it is a really nice example and I've wanted a nice two door sedan since I was a teen. When I found this one it was in a garage that had 10 stalls. When I first saw it there was so much stuff piled all around it that all you could see was the headlights and the tip of the roof sticking up. It is now a far cry from that. I intend to send pictures out on Thursday or Friday and will also post them here for all to see. It is a simple car but a beauty.  One thing I promised myself is that I'd never try that 'freewheeling" feature! Thanks, Steve.

These few "cut-out" sentences are just such a cool story, I am not just spiking up your ad.  It just makes me know or feel differently about a car I already liked when I saw it here yesterday.  I am only being honest, trust me.

EDIT>>> I just swapped/changed the first two words, the name of the member and I changed THAT to the word THIS.

My correction is the perfect fix to THE perfect short history that I'd put in an ad.  No more or no less as to YOUR feelings.. just describe the car and condition first, then finish your ad with those exact words.

I hope it finds the nice car person who deserves it, and will buy it

I was able to get pictures today, we've been having weather problems and I needed someone to help me push the car back in after pictures so I'm a little late. I'll post them here so all that have asked me can have them right away. If you want them in an email just send me your email in a request and I'll get them to you. Also, if you want to talk to me, email me and I'll call you. I have tried to do the best job I can to represent the 32 in these pictures, look and judge for yourself. You can come and look at it, we can arrange an appointment. Or, you can just come and get it while I'm in a weak moment. In any event, thanks for your interest in keeping an original just that way. Steve Westall.

PS: I'm not going to put it on EBAY right away, I really want someone here to buy it and enjoy it as it was built. I'll wait a while, if I do, then I'll do a standard auction with the reserve at $12500 as listed here. My fear is that someone will most likely buy it to make a street rod over there.

Hello all. I'd like to thank everyone who viewed my ad. The car is sold and paid for. It will be leaving for a new home where it won't be cut up. Once he works out the detail of the engine he'll have w wonderful car for a long time. It is always good to see a car go somewhere where it'll be enjoyed. Thanks again
