Vintman
Hi Folks, Had this enquiry from the US to identify what seems to be a US Fibreglass Special. This is a little outside our period and normal scope so any help would be much appreciated. The enquirer is thinking of buying and restoring it so any thoughts on engine too?? Vintman
Been doing some serious digging and have now got the answer: This is a variant of the Nova GT started in UK in 1971 by ADD in Southampton to 1973. Number of ownership changes to 1996 and licensed versions made in number of countries. In USA Sterling Sports Cars in Pittsburg sell kits. Was VW Beetle based, but now also Subaru. Whole roof hovers up and slides forward to get in/out. Looked quite snazzy when new!! Regards Vintman
JACK M
These kit cars are for very short people.

Studemax
Been sold in America under a variety of names... Most VW powered, but I saw one with a 350 once... Valkyrie, I think?
hanski
The Valkyrie was made by Fiberfab and had no connection to Sterling/Nova/Puma/Purvis etc.
Restorer32
Interesting. Being a kit car it could not be shown in AACA competition unless there has been a rules change.
alsancle
I would say 90% of all kit cars were never completed or am I being generous?
