Jeff Perkins / Mn
Hello All,I found this car in Tucumcori New Mexico while on a road trip. Sorry about the poor pics but we were very far away. I did not stop as it was late in the day. Any guesses as to make? Note w/s shape and drum cowl lights. I think mid 20's Packard but that is just an uneducated guess. Leif Holmberg
It looks a bit like 1924-1927 ser.50:s Buick as well. Leif in Sweden.
Dave Henderson
A positive identifiction would probably be more possible if pictures were provided of details such as bumpers, dash, hubs or wheels, hood mating surface at the firewall, etc., you get the idea. West Peterson
My first thought was Buick as well.
F&J
I had a rear body for a later 20s Packard and the golf door(s) were shorter as well as wider than that pic shows. A more rectangular shape, in other words.
keiser31
I agree on the Buick I.D.
Jeff Perkins / Mn
Thank You all for the response. After reading the responses and using "Google Image" to look at various cars I believe this car is a mid 20's Buick. It was not easy getting a pic as there was a 9' fence with barbed wire at the top. Not too conducive to getting a picture of the bumpers, dash, hubs or wheels, hood mating surface at the firewall, etc.

Jeff Perkins / Mn
Was on vacation and only had a 7.1 megapixel digital camera with zoom. I took about 500 pictures of cars as there are literally thousands sitting around in New Mexico and Arizona. Scenes like the attached are common! Ben Bruce aka First Born
I have seen that yard many times. Moriarity, on I 40. Ben
Guest Paterson Chris
Moriarty? What is the name of this car wrecking yard? I tried Googling something but no luck. I sometimes make trips back east from L.A. so I'm always looking for an interesting excuse to break up the monotony of that drive.Chris
