Guest Ranger
Tac,Welcome,No, no email notification, that's why I like this forum, you visit it when you want to, no emails to load up your inbox. As members ask more questions and get answers, we'll build up the searchable data base, I understand that's the only way to do it.Jim
mrtac3
Jim, that's not what I was asking. In other forums, if you are following a particular thread and there is a new reply, you can opt for an e-mail notification. For instance if you ask a certain question, when a reply comes, you know it and don't have to log back in to the forum to keep checking. Actually, this one works the same way. I found it in the options I think. The wheels look strange on the picture of my car. They are the slotted chrome road wheels that were an option.T.#9343

If you have the original picture file, just email it to me, and I'll see what I can do, then send it back to you. Don't send the avatar version, send the full-size original. gramlow@cableone.net

60FlatTop
Hi, Bernie Daily here. It is nice to see a forum in the AACA. I bought my 1964 Riviera in 1978. It was only 14 years old but already recognized as a collector car. I was 30 and it seemed like a long time before my car would be considered an antique. Boy! Did that time fly by! Antiques are now 1981 and older. Here is an interesting note. Riviera production spanned 36 years (spanned but did not include 1994). Right now the first 18 years are antiques and the second 18 years are collector cars in the wings. Kind of neat.Bernie

If this is not checked before resizing, I've noticed that the reduced images are frequently distorted. I'll try reworking T's wheel pic for him, and we'll see how it turns out when he changes his avatar. Heck, I can try it as mine first to see before I send it back. mrtac3
David, thanks for the work. No doubt that it's better! Is it my old eyes, but I still can't see the "R's". There's an R on the hub and on the whitewall. Can you see them? How did the ROA on the rear window come out?T.#9343

Guest 98Riv
Ok, looks like attached pic files are only clickable for viewing. T, you would need to host your pics on a site like photobucket.com and link to them in your post, for them to actually show up.
