I'm planning on going to Hershey for the first time.I was wondering about were the best place is to park? I downloaded the map and I see on the key an off site shuttle. Is there off site parking somewhere? I heard something about a field to park in and then walk about a mile. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks.

Don.

Thanks Steve,

I saw the day parking but I was thinking that was more for the participants and vendors. Thanks for setting me straight. I'm really looking forward to the show. Only wish I had more time than Friday and Saturday.

Thanks 1937hd45

I'd like to get there Thursday or even Wednesday but that work thing got in my way. It still should be a great experience. I've mostly just been to the local shows so I'm looking forward to Hershey. Maybe next year I can work it out to get there sooner in the week.

Don, there will be more than enough to see on those days! While Bob is packing up, others will be busy at the two new fields since they ajoin the show field. Think dry weather and you will still have a chore to see everything! Saturday the show will be close to 1400 cars with 32 special antique cars on display from GM...a first for the show.

Steve, for a FLAT FEE I could just deliver my Hershey Flea Market inventory to Headquarters and save you the walk around time.

Hi - Been Parking / Camping in the lot southeast of hershey hotel near pond for 30+ years. I don't see any parking designated there on the map - is it gone? Is all RV parking being directed behind the giant center? What is the fee this year for RV long term parking? Thanks in advance for the help - Chuck

Thanks Steve for the parking info. The lot across the street from the Giant Center worked out great.Something else that impressed me was the traffic flow in and out. I was expecting a backup but no problems in and out Saturday.

Overall it was the best car show I've ever been too.The parade Saturdayy into the showfield was amazing. I've already made plans to be back next year.

I went to the AACA Museum Friday. That was really interesting and a really nice layout.

Thanks to all the AACA Staff and Volunteers for a great show.

Don

There will be traffic controllers that will guide you into parking. You are in for the time of your life!

Well unfortunately I arrived about 6:30 AM on Weds. I drove around for about an hour until daylight as no one could tell me where to park and there were no signs. On Thurs, I arrived later and the signes were up. Everyone I talked to sent me off on another wild goose chase. Also the very restricted access to the fields was very confusing with no signs directing someone to proper exits/entrances.

Other than that this being my first Hershey, it was very enjoyable.
