Guest Skyking
Hey 48coupe...there were times in Florida when I thought it was going to snow. You know, those cloudy, dreary days when the air temp is around 35. Sometimes I swore I saw snow flakes.
48LCCOUPE
Skyking, Actually saw snow fall in Orlando I think it was 1990 - 1991. My wife and I were driving home from somewhere late and I was wondering where the fire was that was causing all the ash to fall then realized it be snow!!!********* Either that or we had been out drinking? Amphicar BUYER

Quote:

How much snow are they calling for out there Randall?

I'm not Randall, but I can answer that question (Randall only live 10 miles from me). We have already had only about 5" and a possibility of 5" more. Not much of a storm, but it's early yet.Now if I can get the heater hooked up and the insulation in, I won't be f f f f frezing my a** off in the g g g g garage! 6219_Rules
I will be surprised if we see 10" but they are supposed to get 12" in the mountains. But as John said it is early yet. The air is crisp and smells so clean. I cannot imagine what it is like to work in that garage in weather like this, John....maybe Santa should bring you a forced air heater for Christmas??
48LCCOUPE
Amphicars look as tho they might fit thru a sliding glass door thus allowing work in living room with fireplace glowing and football game on. For component tear downs, the bathtub would work very well for cleaning parts and keeping them all in one area. Use dishwasher for parts cleaner at your own risk. Why subject yourself to the cold when you worked hard to provide warm shelter for yourself in the house? Share your comfort with your hobby. R W Burgess
All good ideas Dave, but you left out the phone number for a good divorce lawyer in your advice list. Wayne

6219_Rules
SO.....HAS anyone seen or heard of an H2 stuck in the snow????I guess being snowed under by the weight of its cost and the interest rates counts. Could be wrong....NOT!
R W Burgess
That's why Bob gave up his newsletter editorship some years ago. His computer got so bad at spelling that no one had any idea what he had written, including Bob. Wayne

Ron Green
Randall, The H2 doesn't cost all that much to some. It is on the list of approved vehicles that can be written off by a small business for up to $75,000, up from around $26,000 last year. Thats one of the reasons you see so many. The vehicles on the approved tax break list will cost the federal goverment at least 840 million dollars this year it is estimated. So not all the owners are snowed under. Might need to start up a small business again the next time I need to buy a truck!
48LCCOUPE
Just have to phoney up some logs, I mean keep some records that you used said behemoth for at least 50% in conjunction with small business. Only Yukons, Expeditions,H2's, and other gas concious vehicles need apply.
