Doug Williams
I only have the frame and some of the springs for the back of the drivers seat. The seat was removable so the fuel tank could be filled. I have tried the local upholstery shops and scrap yards and have had no luck so far. A custom set of springs and upholstery is out of budget (this will be a driver and not a show truck), so wondered if anyone here in AACA would have a suggestion on any other pathway to get seats built? ABear
Since the bottom portion of the seat must be removable, the bottom portion of the seat may have been nothing more than a seat cushion without springs which would be easier to remove for refilling the fuel tank.. Barring that, perhaps one could adapt Model T seat parts to your application?
Rusty_OToole
See if there is an upholstery supply place in your area, one that sells to small upholstery shops. They usually have replacement coil springs of the type your seat had. You may have to make a new wooden frame and put the springs on it then the upholstery, or have an upholsterer finish it. By the way, doing upholstery is not hard especially a simple seat like a truck would have. The big problem is the heavy duty sewing machine needed to sew the covering. To make it even simpler you could make seats with a wooden frame, thick foam rubber covered in vinyl but it would not be authentic.
JFranklin
Snyder's Antique Auto Parts makes spring sets at reasonable prices. You will need to give needed dimensions.
Ben Bruce aka First Born
Should be able to find a seat that WILL fit and WORK in a junk yard, I think! That is what I would do. Ben

That would apply here too- the more information you give us , someone may have something you need or can tell you what could be adapted to fit. Is the seat 12 inches deep by 24 wide? 36 wide by 18 deep? How are we supposed to know to then help you. YOU know this WE do not.............
60FlatTop
Well, that don't look too bad from where I'm sittin'. New jute underlay and carpets closed a critical path with some vintage, correct '60 Electra fabric. Off on a tangent! Old is a bit faded.
