Thanks for posting, I have a friend looking for an early 1940s Packard, I think they'd like a coupe, but this one would be tempting I'd think.

 

Looks like a nice car, some of that wiring under the hood needs to be straightened out.

Beautiful auto!  I was at a show a couple of weeks ago and there was one very similar to this. Up close and personal the side mount spares looked a bit bulky for the car. I always thought I liked that look and certainly would not turn the car away for that, but I think it would look a bit sportier without them.

It’s a pretty car.  I don’t love the wire wheels, but that’s not too difficult to change.  The spotlights are a different matter.  I don’t love them, but removing them would be serious project since you’d have to fill the holes etc.

I’m with you on the spots. While they detract from the looks of the car on the outside, for me the real problem is the handle on the inside. It’s too close to the steering wheel making driving somewhat difficult. Zeke
