deac
You don’t have to be a collector to enjoy this 74 Mercury Comet. 52k miles on the original Inline 6 with newly rebuilt carburetor. Starts right up and runs good. Original interior with mild tears in drivers seat fabric. Willing to possibly trade for a truck. https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/729574042625471/?ref=product_details&referral_code=marketplace_general&referral_story_type=general&tracking={"qid"%3A"-2063623136517681122"%2C"mf_story_key"%3A"1096412613684016502"%2C"top_level_post_id"%3A"1096412613684016502"%2C"commerce_rank_obj"%3A"{\"target_id\"%3A1096412613684016502%2C\"target_type\"%3A6%2C\"primary_position\"%3A9%2C\"ranking_signature\"%3A8189305965369212890%2C\"commerce_channel\"%3A501%2C\"value\"%3A0.00023179074439718%2C\"upsell_type\"%3A4032%2C\"candidate_retrieval_source_map\"%3A{\"7631399976923904\"%3A3528%2C\"7290452381031254\"%3A3528%2C\"7631261066904701\"%3A3528}%2C\"grouping_info\"%3Anull}"%2C"lightning_feed_qid"%3A"-2063638735970993409"%2C"lightning_feed_ranking_signature"%3A"8189305965369212890"} This is not my car and I have no stake in the sale

Fossil
These remind me of the Dodge Aspen in the way they present themselves.
1957Birdman
Looks like a grandma’s car to me. The cow catcher bumpers don’t help the looks either. Otherwise it looks to be in very nice shape except for the front seat. I wonder how hard it would be to match that material? John_S_in_Penna
It looks like a pleasant little car, a part of its time but not often seen today. I think the asking price should be $4500, not $10,500.
Sal Hepatica
I owned a Maverick counterpart, '74 4 door Emberglow paint, LDO, air, the works. 19K on the clock. Mint one owner elderly lady car. Paid $2,500 which at the time was a princely sum for it. '74 was a terrible year trying to meet smog standards with that 250 6. Car got at best 16 MPG on the highway; older Falcons I owned regularly got low 20's MPG.
TAKerry
I had a gf in HS that had one exactly like this. Same *^*&^&^ Brown colour. That thing was a dog! As much as this looks like a clean original example, I would not walk I would run away as fast as possible. Too many bad (psychotic) memories!
